Ok, here's what I need from you - the people who visit my page... ideas! There are other Chicago fishing pages out there. And some great ones. But I think my little space on the internet is unique with the info I provide. Now I know that some of the stuff is outdated or incomplete. Check out the Busse or Heidecke reports from the table below. I update those the most. THAT is the kind of information I wish to provide. For example... if you've never been to Heidecke, and you stumble accross my page, I think that the info provided will be very usefull. I've already got lots of ideas for the launch of my new page (I'll reveal the name when its finally reserved), but I want your help too. There have been over 4000 hits to this page since it's inception 2 years ago. I've also established several sources of info to increase the usefullness of this page.
The bottom line is (no pun intended)... if you are a fisherman in the Chicago area, THIS will be THE place to start for current info. And what I don't have here, I will have links to it. We want to catch fish, right? We will be fishing in the Chicago area, right? We need info, right? And I need YOU... Email me!
Coming soon... Weekend fishing forecasts! That's right. Thinking about doing some fishing this weekend? Well, i'll use my little brain and what fishing experience I have to hopefully suggest some places to fishbased on my previous experiences, current weather forecasts, and reports from other sources. For the fishermen, the purpose of this page is provide a place for fellow anglers of Chicago area waters to share quality fishing information. As this page grows I hope to constantly update fishing reports, hints, tips, etc., provided by myself, as well as all who wish to contribute. As a weekend angler since the age of 7, I continue to search the best local hot spots as much as possible.
Most fishing reports may indicate what bait to try or what should be hitting. I want these "Fishing Message Boards" to be an actual account of what fish were caught, with what, where and how. The whole 9 yards. All are encouraged to send photos (scenery or with fish) as well. Also, hitting a body of water for the first time can often include confusion on where to park, buy bait, what spots to fish, etc. I will be including as much of that info as possible on these pages. If you are heading out to a place for the first time and need some info, please email me. If i've been there, i'll share with ya all I can.
