Title of the Club

  • The name of our club is “Fellowship of the Wine”.

Purpose

  • The main purpose is to increase fellowship among KDI School students, faculty and staff.

Objectives

  • The main objective is to learn how to select, serve, taste and appreciate wine, its varieties and its impact on both personal and social life.

Activities

  • The main activity of the club is a regular meeting being held once a month, usually on Friday evening. Each meeting is focused on a particular kind of wine and includes a lecture given by a club’s member. Tasting, rating and discussion follow the lecture. Upcoming meetings and former presentations are posted on the club’s website http://www.oocities.org/wine_fellowship.

Membership

  • Our club does not exclude any person who is associated with KDI School. The club is open to everybody interested in wine. Every member has equal right, obligation and the same vote in electing club president or and directors.

Obligations

  • Each club member is to bring a bottle of pre-specified kind of wine to each meeting or to bring the equivalent in food and/or non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Each club member is also to maintain principles of the KDI School fellowship and standards of behavior.

Deprivation

  • Any member who does not live up to the above obligations and is determined by the club directors and/or faculty advisor will be deprived of membership.
