| The Rules 1. The winner shall be the first player to reach a half century, or the player with the most runs from their two innings when the game has finished. Obviously you don't have to use your two innings, but after I know a few of us will definately need them. 2. Each player can drink up to three drinks in one pub, but only has to have one to stay in. The game will consist of six pubs, symbolising the six balls in an over. Unlike in real cricket though, you can hit each 'ball' three times 3. Points scoring system: i) pints of bitter, lager, stout or cider; 3.7%-4.6% = two 4.7%-6.0% = four 6.0%-7.9% = six i) bottles and halfs; halve the points available for those defined for a pint. iii) shorts; 1 shot = two double = four treble = six short + mixer = take 2 runs away from the score iv) wine small glass = two half a bottle = four full bottle = six v) non-alcoholic drink; no runs scored 4. Out (each player has two innings) i) Failure to have at least one drink in a pub ii) Having a little bit of sick 5. Downing drinks Should any player down a pint in one then they can add 2 runs to their score. Downing anything smaller will add 1 run. 6. Extra rules i) Any person not in suitable cricket attire will start on minus 10 runs. ii) Once a player is out twice then they are unable to win even if they get the highest score. You don't have to go home though as that would be a bit harsh. iii) No narcotics are to be taken at any stage during the round, or indeed at any point during your life if you want to win the 100m sprint at the 2012 games. |
