The Rules

1. Each player must choose and consume ONE drink in each pub. Points are only scored for this ONE drink.

2. The winner shall be the player with the LEAST number of points at the end of the
ninth hole.

3.
Points scoring system:
i) pints of bitter, lager, stout or cider;
<3.7% ABV = bogie
3.7%-4.6%  = par
4.7%-6.0%  = birdie
6.0%-7.9%  = eagle
>8.0%         = albatross

i) bottles and halfs;
add 2 extra points to those defined for a pint

iii) shorts;
1 shot = double bogie
double = par
treble = eagle
short + mixer =
add 1 point to the score for that drink
eg. a double vodka and lemonade is par + 1 which is a bogie.

iv) wine (if you're that way inclined)
small glass = bogie
half a bottle = birdie
full bottle = menatllist = eagle

v) non-alcoholic drink;
4 shots dropped

4. Penalties
i) failure to complete a hole +3 shots
ii) failure to have a drink at all +4
iii) chunder +3

5. Other
i) water hazards; players are not allowed to go to the toilet at any hole deemed a water hazard.
Penalty = 2 shots dropped

ii) hole in one; should any player down a pint in one then they may
subtract 2 points from their score. 'Strawpedoed' bottles may subtract 1 point.

iii) each player is responsible for maintaining their own scorecard and players will be allocated partners with whom they will play the round. I will try and print off some score cards and steal some pens from william hill.

6. Mike and Steve's bonus rules

i) Any person not in suitable golf attire will incur an immediate 2 shot penalty.
And anyone in jeans or trying to look cool will take a 1 shot penalty.

ii) If a player breaks any of the rules twice then they will have to either go home or take the 3 tecquilla suicide penalty.

iii) No narcotics are to be taken at any stage during the round, or indeed at any point during your life if you want to win the 100m sprint at the 2012 games.
