About Us

My name is Kane Garrette.  I am a 27 yr old who has been using computers since the Apple II this was before I realized Apples were not for me.  I am going back to college to take up computer science and hopefully get a better job.  Right now I work for a computer company as a tech support agent.  I have 4 Compaq Presario 5000 computers running Windows 2000 and one Dual AMD Athlon home built PC running Windows XP Pro and Windows 2000 Advanced Server also a Compaq Alpha running NT 4 and I have a G4 Apple Mac running Mac OS X 10.1.5 and Yellowdog Linux 2.2  thank god for Yellowdog Linux and thank god I got it for free.  I like the PCs they are more versatile and FASTER despite Apples claims and I can use any hardware I want with it unlike with my Mac which is very hardware picky.  Anyway the Windows OS has allowed me to be my most productive whether its Building Apps in Visual C++ or Visual Basic to rendering Photos in Photoshop and being the DJ at my parties with Musicmatch Jukebox, the PC just works.
