Women's Retreat Our 12th annual Women’s Retreat is planned for Nov 3-6, 2006 and will be held at thePinecrest Conference Center. Our Guest Speaker is Teri Gladstone Furr ofSerenade Ministries. Please sign up at the Women's Ministry table. Every year we hold a Women's Retreat. The first retreat was held in April 23-25 of 1993 Around 20 women stayed in a home in Big Bear. I was at the church a month when I went. It was a great time of fellowship and intimacy. Our 2nd retreat was a year later. 45 of us stayed at Se Ha Le Conference Center. We did our own cooking to save money. Cindy Jiacoma was the guest speaker from Harvest Christian fellowship. The theme was "Soaring in the Spirit." The scripture verse was Psalm 51:10 "Create a clean heart in me and renew a right Spirit within me." October 4-6, 1996 we held our 3rd retreat at the Pinecrest Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead. We had 85 women attend. Our theme was "How Does Your Garden Grow." Our verse was "those who are planted on the house of the Lord shall fourish in the courts of our God." Psalms 92:13 Guest Speaker: Marty Sprague, Guest Musician: Melissa Ludolph November 7-9, 1997, Our 4th retreat at Pinecrest Conference Center Our theme was "Walk Humbly with Thy God" Our verse was Micah 6:8 Guest Speaker: Melissa Ludolph On January 8-10, 1999 we went to Oak Glen Conference Center. for our 5th retreat. Our Theme was "Create In Me A New Heart" Scripture Verse "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you." Lorie McConchie was our guest. Each room had 5 twin beds which includes bedding. This was held at theMurrietta Spring Christian Conference Center. "The Potter's Hand" Retreat 2003 The 9th annual Women's Retreat was held on June 7th-8th. It was held at theTwin Peaks Conference Center. Our 10th annual Women’s Retreat was held on May 21-22 at the Ramada Conference Center in Palm Springs "Celebrate Jesus" was our theme this year and our verse was from Psalm 145:7 They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness." Our 11th annual Women’s Retreat was held on August 26, 2005 at theMurrietta Spring Christian Conference Center. Our speaker was Julaine ofJulaine Ministries.
