"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1Thes 5:11 To participate in Secret Sisters, you must be a weekly church attendee and participate in Women's Fellowship on a regular basis. If you do not like to shop, or you are very forgetful, this might not be the right ministry for you. Yes this is a ministry. It is your prayers and notes and gifts that encourage your sister and shows that you are thinking about her. Once you get your Secret Sister, you have the information to know her prayer needs and the things she likes. You should let your Secret Sister hear from you at least every other week. You can send a card with a word of encouragement to say I'm thinking of you. Giving and receiving little gifts can lift our spirits and remind us that we are special. This is not to see how big a gift we get, but how much thought we put into showing our sister we care about her by picking things out just for her! In the process we get to know her better. You can leave your gifts at the Women?s Ministry table. You can also mail items to her. Thanks to Karyn Napalitano for handling this event for us! Have fun in the joy of giving!
