• IBM Global Services; Tampa, FL:  4/2002 – 01/2005 (Consultant)

  Developed multiple DB/2 stored procedures in COBOL to be used by new web interface and other upstream applications.  Developed/enhanced COBOL and PL/I programs for process-to-process balancing for audit projects. 

  Function tested billing application for multiple projects.  Improved testing process by creating test script repository of all jobs in billing application to be used in subsequent projects.  Automated process for resetting test environment for entry of new projects.  Provided technical training to peer testers for billing application.

• IBM Global Services; Tampa, FL:  12/2000 - 8/2001 (Consultant)

  Function tested billing application for multiple projects including the split of billing application between AT&T and IBM.  Developed tools to allow production tables refresh into test system without wiping out test data.  Created program for displaying variable length, variable field  record format, along with corresponding field names.

  Coded and function tested year 2000 conversions for multiple applications.  Provided end-to-end test of billing application after upgrade to OS/390.

  Enhanced and unit tested billing application for the year 2000 conversion.  Analyzed application for removal of obsolete code; Removed obsolete code from programs; Executed regression and system test to ensure base function not affected by removal of obsolete code.   Redesigned and enhanced conversion and daily interface programs for ISI/Caesar.

  Billing, Voucher and Treatment system - Designed, coded, enhanced, tested, and supported programs for the year 2000 conversion and multiple releases for billing application.  Worked in conjunction with configuration management group in piloting and debugging MicroFocus Workbench 4.0 GUI and File-Aid/PC IMS & VSAM.

  Developed, tested, and implemented security system to work in conjunction with D&B (MSA) DCI security software.  System saves 8 man hours per week.

  Edited and tested over 60 programs to convert 8 divisions to common D.O.E. (deductions and other earnings) codes within the D&B (MSA) payroll system.

  Provided payroll system support to end-users, payroll managers, and operations.   Payroll system includes in-house and D&B (MSA) programs and jobs.

• Affiliated Food Stores Southwest; Little Rock, AR:  11/1993 - 2/1995

  Designed, developed, tested, and implemented over 100 batch programs for reporting:  inventory, human resource, accounts receivable, and accounts payable information; invoicing; and automated download of yearly tax information for use in LOTUS 1-2-3.
