It’s The Time!

Everyone thought Winnie Hsin, the main actress in the Butterfly Lovers, agreed the offer after careful thinking. But the truth was, the female diva gave her quick reply and said, ‘it’s the time!’ Two to three years ago, she was invited also but she turned down the offers. This time Winnie agreed the offer regardless of the salary. ‘The economic situation is hard for musical, and I should thank them for giving me the opportunity!’ said Winnie.

It’s the debut for Winnie and she held the mind that ‘it’s time for change’. She loves the story of Butterfly Lovers, and she thinks from the personality, she and Ying-tai Zhu are similar, so the re-arranged story is a big attraction for her.

No matter how ‘Red’ a singer is, she has to face the reality of low-tide in career. Winnie was well-known by the song ‘Understanding’ and pushed to the peak by ‘Scent’. Later, she experienced her low-tide with the depression of records market. Not long before, her album, which songs are cover-versions of Korea TV drama them songs, aroused many voices. It can be said as an exceptional case in the arena of pop music.

Recently Winnie didn’t active in the showbiz and the thirst of rest had appeared before. Upon the last few years, she was asked by musical and repertory organizations with satisfactory returns, but as she had no any psychological preparation, she turned down the offers.

Lost of good friend and unsuccessful of love this year made Winnie understands something of life. As the Butterfly Lovers knocked her door, she thought it’s the time for change without concerning the returns.

‘The style of singing between musical and pop song are different. I’ve tried to throw away the style of vocal singing to suit pop songs; but now I have to study the way of singing musical. It’s really a challenge.’

After rehearsal, Winnie found that if she forgot lyrics in the concert, she could cover the carelessness skillfully; if her voice was not good, she could hand the microphone to the audience; but all these methods are no way in musical. She has to combine the postures, locations of standing on the stage and the singing perfectly. There is no NG on the stage, so she said the pressure is very heavy.

辛曉琪跨行演音樂舞台劇「梁祝」，旁人都以為她是考慮再三，沒想到她接到邀約沒幾天就爽快答應演出，她說：「時候到了！」而與2、3年前劇場高金都請不動相較，辛曉琪竟然也不計較片酬，她說：「劇場經營真的太辛苦了，還得謝謝他們給我這個演出機會呢！」

祝英台的角色雖然對她是新鮮嘗試與挑戰，但最讓她不假思索接演的原因，是她認為自己滿像祝英台的。

歌手無論多紅，都得面臨走下坡的現實問題，辛曉琪的唱片事業因「領悟」新紫乍紅，「味道」走到巔峰，雖然隨著唱片市場的景氣持續低迷，也因翻唱韓國歌曲再度翻紅，堪稱歌壇的異數。

辛曉琪近來顯得低調，坦言也有過想休息的衝動，不過，事實上，幾年前就陸續有劇場邀她演出舞台劇及音樂劇，而且酬勞還挺不錯，她之所以沒有試著轉換跑道，不是抗拒，而是尚未做好心理準備。

這一年來她經歷痛失益友、感情不順遂的人生挫敗，也悟出不少人生道理，如今「梁祝」上門，她認為該是時候了，一點都沒有考慮過片酬的問題。

「音樂劇唱腔與流行歌曲太不相同了，過去我唱流行歌曲努力擺脫聲樂的束縛，現在我又得更花心力揣摩歌劇的發聲，這對我來說真的很具挑戰。」

辛曉琪身歷其境排練之後才發現，演唱會忘詞可以技巧地矇混過去，唱啞了也可以將麥克風轉向觀眾幫腔，但音樂劇就不行了，身段、走位、歌詞合而為一，一閃神就完蛋，這讓她接戲之後戒慎恐懼，坦言壓力大的不得了。

Winnie is the 10^th?

Yesterday Winnie Hsin and Berson Wang was ‘getting married’ with wedding outfits. The naughty Berson even declared, ‘you’re my number ten woman. This wedding ceremony is legal according to the law.’ Winnie, with the red outfit is about to fall by his joke.

Berson worked with a number of female artists and Winnie is his tenth partner. Although Winnie declared the three conditions before accepting this offer, she still has an exciting scene of taking off clothes in ‘Saying Goodbye’ for the stupid Shan-bo Liang not knowing her she is a woman.

During the rehearsal of this session yesterday, Berson Wang sometimes cried ‘woo, it’s great’, and sometimes asked ‘why I can’t see anything?’ but on the stage, according to the foolish Shan-bo Liang, he will say, ‘the big breasts are the signs of being government official, congratulations, good brother.’

For the main actress, Winnie didn’t think she have to learn so much things. She also thought that Berson was very naughty, but after working together, she realized that he is so kind. During the second rehearsal, when he saw her sitting alone at a corner, he went ahead her and held her hands, ‘don’t be afraid Winnie, we all support you.’

辛曉琪為了音樂劇處女秀「梁祝」，大費周章穿上鳳冠霞帔與王柏森拜堂，不料得了便宜還賣乖的王柏森說：「妳是我第10個女人，這場婚禮在法律上是成立的喔。」讓一身熱的辛曉琪差點昏倒。 

農曆7月拍殉情戲，為免晦氣，「梁山伯」王柏森和「祝英台」辛曉琪昨天趕緊在戲外記者會上表演拜堂、沖喜，第一次穿鳳冠霞帔的辛曉琪不嫌麻煩、不怕熱，只覺得好新鮮，不過王柏森掐指算算合作過的女藝人，辛曉琪恰恰排名第10，而且昨天在眾人面前拜堂，已經符合婚姻法律要件。此話一出，害辛曉琪差點昏倒。 

辛曉琪第一次跨界演出，提出「不寬衣解帶」、「不得有任何猥褻不雅動作」和「不得露點」的三不條款，把「梁祝」製作人嚇一大跳。話雖如此，向來惜肉如金的她，還是在舞台上寬衣解帶，在十八相送明示、暗示都點不醒呆頭鵝的梁山伯時，乾脆解開衣襟、出示女兒身。 
　

昨天排練時，獨覽衣中風景的王柏森一會兒大喊「哇，好大喔」、一會又說「咦？怎麼什麼都看不到？」但在舞台上，據說呆頭鵝一以貫之，竟說「胸前乳大作官相，賢弟恭喜了。」 
　

辛曉琪說，自己衝著梁祝、衝著音樂劇，一腳踏入劇場，沒想到要學的東西這麼多，不過她原先認定很「臭屁」的王柏森，對她很體貼，在第2次排練時，見她一個人坐在角落，竟然一個箭步跪在她面前、執起她的手說：「曉琪不要怕，我們會挺妳。」這才讓辛曉琪勇敢起來。「梁祝」訂9月11日中秋節在台北市國家戲劇院首演，總計6場。 

Intruding Happiness

The actor and actress of ‘Butterfly Lovers’, Berson Wang and Winnie Hsin was getting married yesterday in the Tower of Red. Refreshingly honest, Winnie, said the role of Ying-tai Zhu makes her crazy. She haven’t done musical before, so she was extremely serious for the show on memorizing scripts and the place she located, ‘I can’t sleep well everyday so I have to take medicine.’

There are 3 different shows of ‘Liang Zhu’ in Taiwan in the latter half of the year. The version of Berson and Winnie was the most modern one, as the traditional rhythm was thrown off but RAP into the show. The role of Wen-cai Ma was not stupid found in the traditional, and would turn to a character with perfect personality. Xiao-ping Li, the director, explained the whole story starts from the memorizing of Wen-cai Ma’s life. Shan-bo Liang is not died from sickness but heavily beaten to death by Wen-cai Ma. 

‘Ying-tai Zhu doesn’t choose Wen-cai Ma, it’s a waste!’ said Winnie. However, the flowing of the story can standout the ‘truth’ of Ying-tai Zhu. Though Winnie finished the training of vocal music, it’s her first time to do musical, ‘it’s different from pop concert, in the musical, I can’t sing like singing pop song. If I talk softly on the stage, the audience can’t hear me, so I have to learn everything from the beginning.’ Fortunately, her partner, Berson encourages her by saying, ‘Winnie, you’re great!’

Xiao-ping Li said he haven’t met an actress like Winnie for a long time, as she asked for rehearsal and put high requirements on herself, ‘the most thing I worried is not she can’t act well, but her emotion in the story will continue in her real life as she’s so serious. Maybe she will cry like in her MV “Understanding”.’

王柏森辛曉琪拜堂沖喜  創新黃梅調 RAP 唱梁祝

「梁祝」音樂劇男女主角王柏森、辛曉琪昨天在紅樓劇場拜堂，一圓舞台上未完的夢。辛曉琪坦言，演祝英台讓她「快崩潰了」，「我沒演過音樂劇，不能鬧笑話！光是記台詞、走位，就讓我天天失眠，吃藥才能入睡。」 

下半年3齣「梁祝」對打，「王柏森、辛曉琪版」最創新，不但拋卻黃梅調、加入RAP，黃士偉飾演的馬文才也一改蠢材形象，變成如馬英九般的完美人物。導演李小平說，整齣劇就從老馬文才的一生回憶說起，梁山伯也並非吐血而亡，而是為了搶親，遭馬文才隨從以亂棍打死。演梁山伯的王柏森笑稱，馬文才多金帥氣，讓他壓力好大。 

辛曉琪也打趣說：「祝英台沒選馬文才，瞎了眼啊！」不過這種安排，正能突顯祝英台的「真」，她本人也喜愛給她安全感、質樸的男人。辛曉琪雖有聲樂底子，演音樂劇卻是頭一次，「這跟演唱會不同，用流行歌曲的唱法根本唱不出來，說話輕聲細語台下還聽不到，我什麼都從頭學起。」辛曉琪壓力大到夜不成眠，王柏森在一旁鼓勵：「曉琪，妳很棒了！」 

李小平趣稱，好久沒見到像辛曉琪這樣的演員，主動要求排戲，自我要求之高，「她最令我擔心的，不是她演不好，而是她演得太認真後，情緒會抽不出來，可能哭得像『領悟』MV一樣。」 

Let’s Get Married?

Different ending for the traditional love story ‘Liang Zhu’? The two main characters of the new version ‘Liang Zhu’, Winnie Hsin and Berson Wang might not go to another world and turned to butterflies, but a happy ending of getting married!

The scene of dying for love on the July of the lunar calendar made the staff of the musical scared. Nobody knew that many strange things really happened in this period. There were rumours that some staff were hurt during rehearsal, and even for strong Winnie, she got a cold under the temperature of 30 to 40 degree Celsius.

On the press conference, the director planned a wedding ceremony for the couple. This was the first time that Winnie wore Chinese traditional wedding outfit. Berson was excited for the scene. The two of them hold the same mission, that was, making the wish of Shan-bo Liang and Ying-tai Zhu comes true. However, does it the ending for this musical? Or it will as same as the original's? The director replied just with a smile.

Winnie was the newcomer of musical, but she holds the three requirements before receiving this offer: No cloths being taken off, no wretched postures and no showing of secret parts of the body. These three requirements shocked all the people, but the producer replied with a smile, ‘I didn’t think of them. The only scene for the stage was the showing of the bare back under dim light. Maybe later the violation of the regulation for the stage would be a gimmick.’ The agent explained, the contract was written according to the filming of TV drama and movie, for the reason of protecting artist, they wouldn’t be deleted. The people just felt a bit shocked for such a contract.

辛曉琪王柏森巧扮梁祝　不搞「殉情」只想拜堂成親？

梁山伯與祝英台的淒美結局改寫了嗎？歌手辛曉琪和王柏森將聯手在中秋節演出音樂劇「梁祝」，雖然一樣是動人愛情故事，不過為了幫這對千年殉情戀人一圓心願，新版「梁祝」結局有可能不再是男女主角雙雙殉情化為彩蝶，而是讓梁山伯風風光光地將祝英台娶進門，有情人終成眷屬，一切就等觀眾買票進場欣賞才知道！

聽說要在農曆七月演殉情戲，一開始就令劇組人覺得發毛，沒想到真正開始彩排果真就古怪事一堆，不斷傳出有演員因排戲受傷，連一向難得感冒的辛曉琪在三、四十度的氣溫下竟也感染上風寒。

記者會上，導演特地安排了一場梁山伯迎娶祝英台的熱鬧婚禮，第一次鳳冠霞披的辛曉琪、王柏森都顯得相當興奮，除了古裝造型讓兩人滿意的不得了之外，兩人更覺得自己有種使命，完成了梁山伯、祝英台的心願。至於戲中結局究竟會如何？是忠於原作殉情終了？還是會顛覆原著，讓他們有好的結局？導演賣了個關子笑而不答。

頭一回參與音樂劇演出，辛曉琪祭出了「三不條款」，表明不得寬衣解帶、不得有任何猥褻不雅動作、不得露點，這三項條款一出嚇壞了所有人，製作人笑說：「這些條款內容我連想都沒想過，唯一劇場出現過在舞台上是在昏暗燈光下背面全裸，或許以後劇場突破尺度也是個賣點」，經紀人則解釋，因為合約是照著電視劇、電影合約擬的，基於保護藝人立場也沒想到要把它拿掉，只不過這合約真是令劇場人開了眼界。

Modern Ying-Tai Zhu

Winnie Hsin hasn't appeared in the public for a while. Recently she is busy for the musical 'Liang Zhu' on 9.11. Featuring as the main character, Ying-tai Zhu, she was nervous from the beginning, but now everything is settled down,  she even thinks she and the character share the same personality!

When talking about the character, Winnie said confidently that her personality is similar to Ying-tai's, 'I get what I want by every cost.' She also talked about herself and was tired to take too much care of the others in the past. Instead, she also longs for others' care and be a little woman.

Without lover, modern 'Ying-tai' worked in Hong Kong at 7.7 (in Lunar calender) but she received a bunch of flowers with a 'scaring' card that didn't leave a signature. At first she thought it's a joke and before she wanted to throw the flowers to the rubbish bin, the staff told her it came from 'Shan-bo Liang'.

Though Winnie studied music as major, this is her first time to take part in musical. She thought she's lucky. For 'Shan-bo Liang' who acted by Bo-shen Wang, 'Winnie is soft in appearance with a tough heart. She's the modern version of 'Yin-tai'. 'She is my third dream girl, just after Cai Qing and Qi Yu,' he also emphasized.

現代版的祝英台

好一陣子沒有亮相的辛曉琪，最近積極為即將於9月11日上演的音樂劇「梁祝」綵排；在劇中飾演祝英台的她，一開始很緊張，到現在駕輕就熟上了癮，辛曉琪發現她和祝英台好像！

說到祝英台，辛曉琪露出自信的表情說，自己的個性簡直是她的翻版，「我對於自己想要的絕對勇於追求，抗爭到底。」因此辛曉琪詮釋祝英台的個性，易如反掌。而她也笑說，以前總有太多母愛照顧別人，但一路走來好累，其實自己也很需要被呵護，當個小女人。

目前單身的辛曉琪，七夕情人節人在香港工作，不過那天收到一大束匿名花束，還附上一張肉麻兮兮的卡片；正當她為這個惡作劇生氣差點要把花丟了，工作人員才好心地說是「梁山伯」要給她的驚喜，希望「祝英台」能有個快樂的七夕情人節。

雖是音樂科班出身，辛曉琪第一次嘗試音樂劇就擔綱演出主角，感覺十分幸運；而演過許多音樂劇、這次演出梁山伯的王柏森表示，「辛曉琪那種外柔內剛的性格簡直是現代版的祝英台。」他也強調，辛曉琪是他心目中第三號女神，排名僅在蔡琴和齊豫之後。

Winnie is Ying-Tai Zhu

Winnie Hsin is just a newcomer of musical but have to work with experienced artist Bo-shen Wang. When they met with each other for the first time, the artist bought with all his precious collection of Winnie's for signatures. Winnie even don't have some of them.  Romantic musical 'Liang Zhu' will be shown for six times starting from 9.11, the female diva indulged in musical in rehearsal. She even said, 'why just for six shows only?'
 

辛曉琪扮祝英台

辛曉琪化身為祝英台，首度挑戰「梁祝」音樂劇。淒美的「梁祝」再次被搬上舞台，這回新版的「梁祝」音樂劇不唱黃梅調，改唱全新的音樂創作，請來辛曉琪飾演祝英台、王柏森扮演梁山伯，這同時也是辛曉琪的舞台「處女作」。

辛曉琪這位「新兵」第一次演出音樂劇，就遇上了王柏森這位舞台劇「老將」，兩人第一次見面時，王柏森居然拿出所有珍藏的辛曉琪CD請她簽名，有些就連辛曉琪自己都沒有。王柏森與不少女主角合作過，他心中有「三大女神」，辛曉琪僅次於蔡琴、齊豫在他心中排名第三，不過說起祝英台「外柔內剛」的性格，辛曉琪則是王柏森心中飾演祝英台的不二人選。「梁祝」音樂劇將從9月11日起，一連在國家戲劇院演出六場，辛曉琪愈排練愈對音樂劇上癮，還不滿足的說，「為什麼只演六場呢？」。
