The Winnipeg Piper's Circle is an informal gathering of pipers in the Winnipeg, MB area, who play smallpipes.
Our goal is to exchange ideas, tunes, history and other piping 'stuff'. As well as playing a few tunes together.
Duane Colley | Uilleann, Scottish Smallpipes, Northumbrian Smallpipes, occassional Tin Whistle player and Highland Piper. Duane does have a website www.oocities.org/winterpegpiper but it's in perpetual flux and not very netscape friendly. |

April 30, 2003 | A dry winter was not friendly to the bellows blown pipes, but we managed to squeek out a few tunes. |
July 16, 2001 | With rain coming down hard and furious, and the misquito's seaking shelter in the house, we braved another gathering in Sandy's living room. Kim Leskuw from Souris, MB was out for a vist. Kim brought out her Neil O'Grady practice set of uilleann pipes. Duane brought out his new set of Northumbrian smallpipes. Everyone played a few tunes and had a good time. |

May , 2001 | We got together for a few tunes in Sandy's living room. Tom Jeffers of Prairie Ceilidh on CKJS 810 AM, was out. He brought along a CD for a door prize. I didn't win.

April , 2001 | We got together for a few tunes in Sandy's living room. Al Thomson of Marty's Party joined our ranks, bringing out his Northumbrian Smallpipes and wealth of knowledge. Mark, an aspiring musician and Uilleann piper in the making joined our ranks as well. |
March , 2001 | Our inaugural meeting. Larry and Duane met in Sandy's living room. Sandy had her Colin Ross Scottish Smallpipes (D) and John Walsh Shuttlepipes (A). Larry brought out his Kilberry
Scottish smallpipes (D) and his new Renaissance Border pipes in G. I brought my Scotish Smallpipes (A) and Uilleann pipes.
Larry wowwed us by singing and playing "The Jolly Beggerman" on his Scottish Smallpipes. |
