Do you really love you neighbor?
Imagine yourself without Jesus now, can you bear it? Having experienced the joy in the presence of our Lord, can you afford to getaway with Him? Jesus said, “By this will all men know you are my disciples if you have love one for another” (John 13:34,35). Witnessing is loving others as much as you love yourself.. If we really love others as much as we love ourselves, the next question would be, why then are we not sharing Jesus to our neighbors?
Enthusiasm in witnessing comes as a result of knowing and experiencing our savior. Remember that whenever we meet anyone might be our last opportunity to communicate. It could be his last opportunity to hear God’s love for his soul and make his peace with God.
Don’t ever wait to have “powers” in the like of “Darna” nor “Mulawin” before you witness. It isn’t clever men, or unique methods, but spirit anointed believers God uses! The apostle Paul tells us to “do the work of an evangelist”. He further writes in 2 Corinthians 5:11, “Knowing, therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men”. It isn’t one’s ability to quote scripture passages, but the love of Christ that shines forth out of our life that attracts men. It isn’t words, but the life we live daily that reveals Christ to the world. Jesus told us believers in Acts 1:8, “ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses “
