Article of the Week: June 8, 2003

God did something wonderful to our youth during the camp last June 2-4, 2003 at Highlands Camp Iba, Zambales. Here are some of what they can say about it:

“Exciting siya. Marami akong natutunan. Masmarami akong nakilala na mga friends. Naging close din kami.” – Denden J

“Ibang klase po talaga kase makikita natin na nagwork si Lord sa buhay ng bawat campers.” –Joshua J

“I just thank God kase nafeel ng bawat isa yung presence ni God. I hope hindi lang magend sa camp, I pray to God that we all youth will continue to grow deeper and deeper for Jesus! And siyempre, bonding with friends!” – Marcy J

“Nakakabless ang camp.Masaya!” – Justine J

“Masaya. Nakakabless, may wisdom ni LORD.. and His Holy presence ay nandun... we the youth are the next generation and we are called to minister to other youth…Ü.” – Jelo J

“Thank You, Lord kase naenlighten ako don sa mga past na ginawa ko. Mali pala yon. Tapos si Lord ang may kayang magbago sa isang tao. Masaya din kase bonding ang mga youth, marami akong friends na nakilala.” – Tonilee J

“Masaya. Marami akong natutunan at lagi kong kasama ang presence ni Lord. Nareveal din yung tunay na bonding ng bawat isa. Natutunan din naming ang umiwas sa sin.”- Marlou

“Bliness ako ni Lord ng speaking in tongues. Bumait na rin po ako.Natutunan ko rin po na magpray, magbasa ng Bible at laging kumanta at makinig sa Christian songs.” – Loumar

“Nafeel ko yung presence ni Lord yung love Niya. Binigyan Niya ako ng gift of tongues. Cleanse Niya lahat ng sin ko. Sabi Niya rin sakin harapin ko lahat ng problema ko.” – Aa

“Sobrang natutunan kong maging close kay God. Siya na talaga ang God and Savior ko.” – Jenna

“The Holy Spirit really moves the campers and it is an unforgettable experience in each and everyone of us for God showed His mercy and love. And… there’s a new revival!” – Sara Mae

“I thank the Lord God kase eto na po yung matagal na naming pinagpepray sa Kanya. Tinouch Niya ang mga hearts ng bawat youth… binigyan din ni Lord ng wisdom ang mga counselors, pastors and speakers na maglilead samin tapos naging maayos naman po ang camp and we built friendships among ourselves. Masaya! All I can say is, This is it, LoRD!!! You’ve really done it this time!!! Big time!” – Meme J

“Well, masaya, nakakabless, nakakatuwa. Ako talaga hindi ko iniexpect na magiging close lahat. Nagenjoy ako kase may bonding and unity tapos lahat nakikicooperate. Walang kj and nafeel ko yung comfort ni Lord at maslalong naging clear kung ano yung gusto ni Lord para sakin. Kung ano yung calling Niya.” – Inyaki (Apple) J

Lunchtime, may tanong si David: “Anong gusto mo?” “Ano?” Sagot Niya: si Jesus. Q: Anong meron ka? A: Salvation. (Oh davah?)

“God moves in a very astonishing way. He simply confirmed us by His unfailing love - the reason He deserves all the praises and honor. Glory to the Father who first loved us.” – Raian

“Masaya. Natutuwa ako kase nagkaroon ng bonding lahat-lahat don at talagang mineet kami ni God don. Ayon, nakita din namin ang potential ng bawat isa.” – Faith J

“Truly we experienced the power of the Holy Spirit during our camp in Iba, Zambales. I believe it’s not an accident.” – Kuya Otep

“Naexperience ko po yung presence ni Lord na sa ibang camp hindi ko po naramdaman. Nabless po ako sa preach ni Pastor.Doon ko lang po talaga tinanggap si Lord. Wala na po talaga akong masasabi kundi napakabuti talaga ni Lord!” - Juan

“God never fails to amaze me… talagang Sya ang pwede makapagbago sa isang tao.” – Ate Veda J
