STRAWBERRY: In the late 1800's, an admirer of one of ZTA's founders sent a gift of strawberries.  The scrumptious present prompted the group of nine friends to host their first purely social gathering and to become officially recognized as a campus organization.

PATRON GODDESS: Themis, the mythological Greek goddess of justice

CROWN: The five-pointed crown denotes special significance to all ZTA's.

LINKS: A gold link inscribed "Alpha" begins Zeta Tau Alpha's chain of chapers.  Silver links etched with the names of ZTA's 231 chartered chapters follow.

THEMIS: Themis, the official, award-winning magazine of Zeta Tau Alpha, publishes quartely information on women's issues and news of the Fraternity, collegiate and alumnae groups, and individual members.

Congratulations ZTA!  Zeta Tau Alpha owns the trademark on the "Think Pink" slogan!  Way to go ZTA!!!

The Winston Salem Alumnae group is home to two current National Officers and several past National Officers?  Denise Amick is the current District President for IV-A.  Raechel Biggs is the current Province President for IV-B.  Our past National Council members include Franlyna Charles, Linda Cappel, Madeline Dassow, and Susan White.
