First, we support the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, which provides monitary support to Susan G. Komen foundation, as well as provides scholarships for college women all over the country.
We also sponsor a scholarship for a Zeta lady at an area university and provide support to the local ARC group.
For the past 5 years, we have collected travel sized toiletries and made "Bags of Beauty" to give to the Battered Women's shelter. These bags are given to women and children who flee to the shelter without necessary toiletries.
We have also supported our troops by sending supplies and provisions overseas.
We also collect a variety of small items. We collect Campbell's Soup Labels and Boxtops for local area schools who use them for educational supplies. We collect Yoplait Lids to support the Komen Foundation, and we collect card fronts for area churches who use them with their Senior Citizens. We even collect pop-tops (soda tabs), which are given to the Kidney Foundation for recycling.
We welcome feedback on other items that are small and easy to collect--we'd love to help any organization.
