MY ALL
All the Lord wants, Is my all, All he desires, Is my all, All he wants, Is my all, All I have, He wants all. |
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. |
WHAT IF...?
What if...? God couldn't take the time to Bless us today because we could not take the time to thank Him yesterday... What if...? God decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn't follow Him today... What if...? God didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day... What if....? We never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when God sent the rain... What if...? God stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others... What if...? God took away the Bible tomorrow, because we would not read it today... What If...? God took away his message because we failed to listen to His messenger... What if...? God didn't send His only begotten Son because He wanted us to prepared to pay the price of sin... What if...? The door to the church was closed because we did not open the door of our hearts... What if...? God would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him yesterday... What if...? God answered our prayers the way we answer His call to service... What if...? God met our needs the way we give Him our lives... |

I've begun looking for the small ways my faith is tested and welcoming them for what they are: indicators that the Lord is working to change and refine me. He cares enough not to give up on the potential He has put within me. |

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, "No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up." I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, "No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary." I asked God to grant me patience. God said, "No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned." I asked God to give me happiness. God said, "No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you." I asked God to spare me pain. God said, "No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me." I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, "No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful." I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, "No. I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things." I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me. God said ... "Ah, finally you have the idea." THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY May God Bless You, "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world" |

If the devil were to write his beatitudes, they would probably go something like this:
1. Blessed are those who are too tired, too busy, too distracted to spend an hour once a week with their fellow Christians -- they are my best workers. 2. Blessed are those Christians who wait to be asked and expect to be thanked -- I can use them. 3. Blessed are those who seek worldly pleasures instead of seeking the will of God -- they are my missionaries. 4. Blessed are the trouble makers -- they shall be called my children. 5. Blessed are those who murmur and complain and have no joy they really make my work easy. 6. Blessed are those who are focused on the minister's mannerisms and mistakes -- for they get nothing out of his sermons. 7. Blessed is the church member who expects to be invited to his own church -- for he is a part of the problem instead of the solution. 8. Blessed are those who gossip -- for they shall cause strife and divisions that please me. 9. Blessed are those who are easily offended -- for they will soon get angry and quit. 10. Blessed are those who do not give their tithes or offering to carry on God's work but will spend it selfishly on themselves -- for they are MY helpers. 11. Blessed is he who professes to love God but hates his brother and sister -- for he shall be with me forever. |

We often see billboards that read GOT MILK? I believe we as Christians should make a billboard that reads GOT JESUS? If not, you need him and believe me that is enough.
The Super bowl was coming. Every sinful person was praying to God and asking him to let their team win. Well I have a comment about that and the comment is: Yes, GOD hears your prayer but he doesn't care about the game. It's your soul he cares about. |

CHALLENGING THE LORD'S PRAYER
I cannot say OUR if I live only for myself. I Cannot say FATHER if I do not endeavor each day to act like His child. I cannot say WHO ART IN HEAVEN if I am laying up no treasure there. I cannot say HALLOWED BE THY NAME if I am not striving for holiness. I cannot say THY KINGDOM COME if I am not doing all in my power to hasten that wonderful event. I cannot say THY WILL BE DONE if I am disobedient to His word. I cannot say ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN if I will not serve Him here and now. I cannot say GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD if I am dishonest or seeking things by subterfuge. I cannot say FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES if I harbor a grudge against anyone. I cannot say LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION if I deliberately place myself in its path. I cannot say DELIVER US FROM EVIL if I do not put on the whole armor of God. I cannot say THINE IS THE KINGDOM if I do not give the King the loyalty due him from a faithful subject. I cannot say THE POWER if I fear what others may do. I cannot say THE GLORY if I am seeking honor only for myself. I cannot say FOREVER if the horizon of my life is bounded by the things of today. |
