CHRISTIAN THOUGHTS -
Part Two
                                             MY DRUG PROBLEM

a.. I had a "drug" problem when I was a young person and teenager...
b.. I was "drug" to church on Sunday morning.
c.. I was "drug" to church on Sunday night.
d.. I was "drug" to church on Wednesday night.
e.. I was "drug" to Sunday School every week.
f.. I was "drug" to Vacation Bible School.
g.. I was "drug" to the family altar to read the Bible and pray.
h.. I was also "drug" to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents.

Those "drugs" are still in my veins; and they affect my behavior in every thing I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack or heroin.

If our children had this "drug" problem, our country would certainly be a better place.
God is a like a book, we can see the cover, and we can hear the pages as they turn, but until we actually read the book then we will truly know what the book (God) is all about. We are also sometimes the only Bible people hear.

Satan is like a cobra. When Satan is around we know he is going to strike us no matter what move we make. So instead of following Satan where we are destined to hell, why don't we all just look up give our lives to Christ and take a step back from Satan and know that we will be saved by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Your life is an example
For others to plainly view
You're either building for the Lord
Or you're on the wrecking crew.
Thank God you're not the jury,
Thank God I'm not the judge,
Here's to the bigger picture,
Here's to the bigger love!"
Things I learned from Noah's Ark.
1. Don't miss the boat.
2. Remember that we are all in the same boat.
3. Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
4. Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
5. Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
6. Build your future on high ground.
7. For safety's sake travel in pairs.
8. Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
9. When you're stressed, float a while.
10. Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
11. No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Top 10 Things You Don't Ever Have To Worry About...

10. If the Bible will still have the answers.
9.  If prayer still works.
8. If the Spirit can still move.
7. If God still inhabits praise.
6. If there is still anointed preaching.
5. If there is still anointed singing.
4. If God still pours out blessings.
3. If there's still room at the cross.
2. If Jesus still loves you.
1. If Jesus still saves.
A true missionary is not necessarily the one who goes to a foreign country; but is one who can never grow accustomed to the thud of Christ-less feet on the way to a lost eternity.
Sometimes we feel like we have let God down. When were we holding him up? Is he not the one holding us up?
IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE HANDS

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19.
A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.
A baseball in Roger Clemens' hands is worth $19 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands,
A tennis racket in Pete Sampras' hands is a Wimbledon Championship.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hand it's in.

A sling shot in my hand is a kid's toy.
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hand it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's Hands will feed thousands.
It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse.
Nails in Jesus Christ's Hands will produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it’s in.

As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's Hands because ---It depends whose hands it's in ---.
ROADS

So many roads,
so many paths,
so many oceans to navigate through...

Why do people choose the easiest?

The shortest?

The one most taken?

Why do they choose to BELONG to this world?

To live by it's rules?

To go by it's ways?

All to find out that at the end awaits only darkness, pain and even death.

Why?

If these roads are full of lies, sadness and defeat.

Why?

When there's a road less taken waiting to be run through, trampled over or
just walked through even if it's only by curiosity.

A road that brings life, love, happiness and shelter from the storm.

And though it may be a tough, trying road but it promises joy, forgiveness
and most importantly a Guide who will never leave us or betray us.

He leads us, loves us, and puts us in victory.

Even when we're so tired we can't go a step further He simply picks us up
and carries us until we get back on our feet.

And the best part...He leads us Home.

Answer: When you wake up!

Some people complain because God puts thorns on roses, while others praise God for putting roses among thorns.
I don't give God 10% of my income. He let's me keep 90% of His!
I asked God "How much time do I have before I die"?
He replied, "Enough to make a difference."
Salvation is so simple we can overlook it, so profound we can never comprehend it, so priceless we could never buy it; yet free for all who will believe and receive.
Sometimes it takes seeing our blessings through the eyes of someone else before we can grasp how truly blessed we really are.
You can better understand the 23rd Psalm when you are acquainted with The Shepherd.
PSALM 23
The Lord is my Shepherd...
THAT'S RELATIONSHIP!
I shall not want...
THAT'S SUPPLY!
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures...
THAT'S REST!
He leadeth me beside still waters...
THAT'S REFRESHMENT!
He restoreth my soul...
THAT'S HEALING!
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness...
THAT'S GUIDANCE!
For His name sake...
THAT'S PURPOSE!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...
THAT'S CHALLENGE!
I will fear no evil...
THAT'S ASSURANCE!
For thou art with me...
THAT'S FAITHFULNESS!
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me...
THAT'S SHELTER!
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies...
THAT'S HOPE!
Thou anointest my head with oil...
THAT'S CONSECRATION!
My cup runneth over...
THAT'S ABUNDANCE!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life...
THAT'S BLESSING!
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord...
THAT'S SECURITY!
Forever...
THAT'S ETERNITY!
Take time to think, it is the source of power;
Take time to play, it is the secret of perpetual youth;
Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to pray, it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to be friendly, it is the road to happiness.
Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul;
Take time to give, it is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to work, it is the price of success.
Take time to do charity, it is the key to heaven.
Take time to love and be loved, it is a God given privilege.
As I look around, I see people just like myself, who are always in a big hurry. I don't think we take enough time for ourselvess, and our families. We race through life without enjoying it.
I am going to try to take more time for the important things in life. How about you?
