The Badge
The Badge starts out as a Full Nelson Slam, but Andre
lifts the victim so high up in the air, that he almost loses his grip.
As the opponent falls, Andre shifts his hand to their neck, and finishes
up with a devistating chokeslam. |
Character History
| Andre Uriel Bates was born October 26, 1956 to the family
of Mr. and Mrs. William Bates. By the time he was five years old, Andre's
physical appearance was already beginning to show. Through-out his school
years, he was always the tallest in his class. After nearly breaking his
leg while during recess during the 5th grade, his parents decided he should
work out. Andre loved building his muscles, becoming now not only the tallets
kid in school, but the strongest as well. When he graduated High School,
he was already over seven feet tall. He reached his limit while in College,
at 7'9 and now 460 pounds of nearly solid muscle. His strength, size, and
gentleness earned him the name "The Memphis Giant". And it gained him fame
when he held up the entrance of a burning building, saving a family of
five, along with two firemen. After graduating College, Andre went into
the Police Academy, and graduated. Following the footsteps of his grandfather,
Joe B. Hutchison. Andre served three years at patrol, before being accepted
into SWAT. He served for only a year, before entering the Motorcycle Squad,
like his Grandfather. Two years later, on April 1, 1984 Andre pulled over
a car for running a red light. As he was asking for the license and registration,
the driver pulled out a gun and shot Andre in the head, sending him into
a coma for three years. When Andre woke, he didn't know what to do. He
later ran for City Council in 1989, and was elected. He served for three
years as a City Council Member, and two years as a City Council Chairman.
Andre later became fed up with the Politics in Memphis, and resigned. He
joined a local wrestling league in 1994 under the name of "Psycho Klown".
He met up with Scott "Dagger" Stonewall, Eric Draven, and Sickle soon after,
and was later accepted into the IFW. After five years, Andre droped the
Klown gimmick and wrestled as himself. Creating the tag team Bad Blood
with his friend Scott Stonewall, Andre became a well known name in Wrestling
Entertainment. As part of the stable HAES, Andre also became known as one
of the most ruthless men in the world. In 2000, Andre tied the knot with
his Girlfriend, and sister of Sickle and Eric. Andre and Pandora were wed
in Ardmore Baptist Church on September 11, 2000. He continued to wrestle
in major federations such as the EFW, WPW, UWF, ULW, and more. He now makes
his way into GXW, ready to show this federation, who is the bigger man. |
