Ariel James and his sister Pandora were both adopted
at a very young age by an older couple with the last name of Johnson.
They were the average parents, or so they appeared but in actuality they
were a mean old couple that lived in an old farm type house on the outskirts
of New York City. Both Ariel and Pandora were made to sleep in the
cellar of the old house, and ate the leftovers of the dinner that the Johnson’s
ate. As normal kids would they were eventually put in school.
It became apparent very soon that something was not right with the two.
But, nothing was said until one day when Pandora was just beginning middle
school some jocks were teasing her and giving her a hard time.
She ran out of the building in a rage, beat up an ice cream man, stole
his truck, and drove it onto the football field injuring quite a few of
the football players.
After a bit of struggle the teachers were able to detain
Pandora, as the police and ambulance were on its way. Pandora was
hauled off in the back of a police car while the medical attendants were
busy cleaning up after her. At her court date the judge said that
Pandora had one of three options she could go to jail, go to a psychiatric
ward, or be under house arrest and be taught on homebound until her mental
status was improved through counseling. Pandora obviously being too young
to decide for herself was forced to go along with the decision of her adopted
parents. Neither of the Johnson’s wanted to spend all that money
on home bound or on counseling, nor did they want to send her to jail out
of fear that she would harden and come after them so rather they sent her
to the institution where she stayed until she had reached the age of twenty.
At the age of twenty she managed to escape the institution and find her
brother Ariel who hid her, and without her knowledge got the sentence taken
off of her by offering to be her legal guardian for one year.
In middle school at almost the same time as his sister
Ariel had a similar occurrence. Ariel was being picked on as usual
by his classmates but this time one of them followed him into the bathroom
and while he was busy using a urinal the classmate slammed his head forward
causing blood to rush down his face, and some fell into his mouth, and
it was then that Ariel snapped. He picked up a nearby mop that had
been left by the janitor, and preceded to beat the kid with it causing
the mop to snap in two. The teachers tried to pull him off of the
kid but Ariel just shrugged them off until one of the teachers in a desperate
attempt to get him off hit him across the head, and then he snapped on
the teacher. He lunged towards the teacher taking him to the ground
with his hands around his throat and proceeded to slam his head into the
tile leaving blood everywhere. Finally the police arrived and managed
to detain him after quite a bit of effort.
At the court hearing he was charged and was given the
same options as his sister. He could go to jail, go to a mental institution,
or go to counseling and be homebound schooled until he was better.
The Johnson’s did not even hesitate to give their input. They wanted
him to go to jail. Ariel was old enough however that he was able
to beg and plead to be given help in an institution. The judge was
kind of enough to grant Ariel’s desire of the institution instead of jail
time.
Inside of the institution Ariel faced many troubles.
He was tormented physically and sexually. They never managed to get
a hold of him but the threats were still there. Constant screams,
always surrounded by screaming. In an attempt to cure Ariel they
began to test out different theories and experiment with him, and his brain.
One such experimentation was to tie him down in a chair, and hit him, and
tease him until he stopped struggling. It was during one such experiment
that Sickle was born. The one known as Ariel had died and changed
into
Sickle. No one really knows how or why but it happened all the same.
The institution did little good to calm Ariel/Sickle down. After
his release on his eighteenth birthday he went to pay a little visit to
his foster parents, and burnt their house down in the middle of the night.
No one knows for sure if they were in it or not but no one has seen them
since then.
After paying his folks a visit Sickle went and hid in
the gothic underground. It was an actual city that had been built
underground many, many centuries ago during the ages of the witch-hunt.
While in the gothic underground Sickle met several people who changed his
life. One was Moira, his girlfriend at the time and another key one
was Lucid Nightmare as he was known. Apparently Lucid has been down
there since he moved to America. Another figure that touched Sickle’s
life is known simply as the Elder. He is the one that taught Sickle
about wrestling. The one that taught Sickle to love it, and how to
make his own moves, his own finishers. |
