Pippin started 2004 off as a Junior Puppy ~ she made quick work of her Can. Title and soon became a group contender winning and placing in the group.. At 11 months of age she won her first BIS & BPIS under Sue-Ellen Rempel and another BPIS under John Ross. Pippin was entered in four specialties in 2004 and some of the biggest shows in Canada. She brought home the wins at each of these specialties and placed in group at the largest shows in Canada. At 12 months of age ~ BOSS under breeder Judge Ray Smith of Tanaray Kennels At 14 months of age ~ BISS under breeder Judge Lynn Allen of Whistlestop Kennels At 15 months of age ~ BOS under breeder Judge Charles Bart of Barhar Kennels At 16 months of age ~ BISS under breeder Judge Guy Jeavons of Grandgables Kennels Number One Standard Wirehair Dachshund & Top 15 Hound In Canada for 2004 ! 2005 we decide she was just too good to sit on the couch and with only being 18 months. A quick trip to Denver in February garnered 13 pts. towards her AKC Ch. title ~ 3 majors and a group 4th placement from the classes with an entry of over 300 hounds. March brought numerous group wins and placements and her second BIS under Joan Beech. April ~ several group wins and placements continue May ~ more group wins & placements ~ Pippin gets her third BIS under Edna Perks June ~ another quick trip south of the border ~ BOV to finish her American Championship ~ undefeated from the classes in 5 shows ! (WB , 4 BOV ) July ~ Happy 2nd Birthday Pippin ! ( July 1st ) Pippin wins the allbreed group 1st and goes on to take BOISS allbreeds under Mark McMillan of Grandgables Kennels at the Manitoba Dachshund Club Specialty. The next Day on July 2nd Pippin at the First Federation of Dachshund Clubs of Canada's National Specialty she goes BOISS allbreeds under Emma-Jean Stephensonp-Dusold of EJ Kennels. Thru out the summer and into the fall of 2005 Pippin continued to win or place in the group . Winning her 4th BIS in September under SueEllen Rempel. Group 1st win under Jon Cole was a highlite in August. Another wonderful group win came in her last weekend out under Michelle Billings. 2005 Pippin became the Top Winning Standard Wirehair Bitch in Canadian History. Number one Standard Wirehair Dachshund and Number 9 Hound in Canada. We are extremely proud of Pippin's accomplishments and are grateful for the support we have gotten. Special thankyou to Connie Krohn & Trina Neil ~ it's been quite the two years of fantastic moments and memories... Thankyou Lindy for entrusting me with Pippin ~ it has been alot of fun presenting her to the Dachshund Fancy these past two years. She's a fabulous bitch and I know there never will be another quite like her. 2006 Pippin x Zorro puppies. 5 out of 6 puppies went to show/performance homes. B/t boy Hunter hit the rings ~ finished his Can & Am. Championships in quick order setting a record we believe for the most BPIS wins by a SW in Canada he also is number 3 SW for 2006. Red boy Jester finished his Can. Ch. and now resides in the UK. Red girl Taboo finished her Can. Ch. at 11 months and is doing well as a specials. B/t boy Ensign is close to finishing his Can. Ch. and is taking an interest in earthdog as well. Red girl Chelsea has a good start on her Can. Ch. as well. Red boy Oskar is a real sweetheart and has become a great companion dog. All the puppies are doing their dam & sire proud with their great temperments. 2007 Pippin x Zorro ~ born June 26th ~ 7 puppies. 4 red males, 1 black & tan male, 1 red female, 1 black & tan female Pippin has been a wonderful mother ~ she has given us two wonderful litters. We have kept Taboo with a co-ownership with Alanna Stanton from our 2006 litter. Sizzle the black & tan bitch much to my granddaughters delight is our keeper girl from our 2007 litter. These two girls ~ Taboo & Sizzle will bring the next generations to our kennel. |
