| Number 1 ~ 1995 Number 1 ~ 1996 ( Number 1 Couch Potato 1997 ) Number 2 ~ 1998 Number 2 ~ 1999 He won his veteran class at DCA and received a cut for the BOV in 2001 We finally got around to trialing in obedience after his retirement from the conformation ring in 2001finishing his CD with some nice scores of 184,190 and a 193.5 We have started to work on tracking in 2002 something that Tango seems to do well and he enjoys these outings ~ with any luck we will get to a trial in the future. 2003 Tango takes BOS in breed at the Prairie Dachshund Club specialty and best Veteran In Specialty at 9.5 yrs. As time goes on here we will continue to show Tango in Veterans at the specialties and the occasional allbreed Veteran Sweeps. He so enjoys the ring & is such a treat to show. In 2004 at just over 10 yrs. ~ he picked up another BB win ! What a thrill to show him in group where he still put on the performance and brought many memories back for him, myself and longtime dogshow exhibitors who watched him strut his stuff and remarked on how good he looks. September 5th 2004 Tango shown by my sister Debbie once again to some terrific wins. One wouldn't know Tango is almost 11 yrs of age as he strutted his stuff. Best Veteran in Specialty Sweepstakes & he was honoured with an AOM in SW at the Prairie Dachshund Club Specialty this is the second time in Canadian History this award has been given out to a Standard Wirehair Dachshund. Special thankyou to Bob & Betty Davis of Deebardac Kennel for entrusting me with this wonderful dog ~ he taught me alot and brought us so many thrills in the ring and better yet the laughter in our home with his clown like behaviour. One can truly say "send in the clowns" He Is Our Standard For Temperment and We Miss Him Dearly December 10th, 1993 ~ May 23rd, 2006 |
