Woman in Muslim communities is treated kindly, gently and with all respect to her humanity and her specialty as a woman. In Islam the man is responsible of all expenditures of the women of his family whether they are wife, mother, sister or daughter.

Woman has her own money and she is not ordered to pay any thing from her money to any one all over her life.

When a woman is going to marry, the groom has to pay alone every thing from the dowry, building or renting the house and furnishing it up to pay for every thing that the family will need, his wife is not ordered to help him from her money except if she want to help him voluntary.

Divorce may happen but it is the last solution for irresolvable problems in the family. Generally Muslim communities have a very low percentage of divorce or crimes against women in proportion to other societies elsewhere on east or west.

Islam gives the women a complete protection to their rights and offers them a real chance to practice their freedom independently, and to play their rule in building their countries, as any person in the society. These ideas seems to be trivial nowadays in western world, but they where not before few decades, when women had no social or political rights. For example Full voting rights for women were not guaranteed in the United States until 1920.

When women rights indicated  by Islam fourteen centuries ago they were a great revolution. In Islam the women have a great humanitarian value, they got a guaranteed life and they mustn't work in a job that may hurt their dignity or honor, they mustn't be used as a seducing material in media, advertisements, art or anywhere because this is a humiliation to their humanity, for sorrow these points are not understood in western world. On the other hand, many women in eastern world are suffering from pressures and restrictions related to local traditions that are so far from Islam.

To protect the women from the eyes of the odd persons, to save the high manners of the society and to protect women from becoming a tool, Islam ordered Muslim women to wear "Al_Hijab" when they are outside the home or where there are foreign men, Al_Hijab is any suitable loose clothes that cover most of the body.

Woman has to be given the respect not only because she is the half of the society but also because she is the basic builder of all the society.
