Aunt Deni's Page
![]() Aunt Deni, tanned and smiling (at left) "I know in my heart that I will be healed of this problem and will be here for many years to live, laugh, and love! I have a special purpose here. I'm just asking God to show me what it is..." These are the affirming words of a most courageous woman, my aunt Deni (Denice). Wife of my Mom's brother, Jeff, and mother of my cousins, Kellie and Jeffrey, Deni consistently brings cheer to the people whose lives she touches. She was diagnosed in the summer of 2000 with an occurrence of cancer in her brain tissue. Positive as ever, however, she has undergone treatment at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. This challenging condition is one for which she continues to request prayers. Her determination in all that she does and her dedication to her family are most inspiring. (And, I might add that she loves baklava and makes the best S'Mores you can find anywhere!) ![]() ![]() She and Jeff visited my family and me most recently on Friday, November 10, 2000. Please join with me in praying for her and her family and in celebrating the gift of all that she is.
