Chapter 3
Another "fun-filled" day at Valhalla High. The school was buzzed about prom; who they were going with, what they would wear, and what they would be doing afterwards. Yep, just a funfilled day. Lenneth, Freya, and Mystina were in gym this period.
"Ok, spill it, chick. You've been acting weird all day." Mystina said. Lenneth showed Mystina the note from yesterday and she did the same thing Freya did. Laugh.
"You kept that thing?" Freya asked.
"Yep. You guys, what if he asks me before Lucian does?" Lenneth asked. Mystina and Freya thought for a minuet. Then they both came up with the same conclusion
"Go with him." they answered in unison
"So, Lis' Goin to prom?" Ull, a fellow punk and a member of their band, asked. Ull was Lisa's crush. He had short blonde hair and pretty green eyes. Why wouldn't she have a crush on him.
"I might, if the right guy asks" Lisa answered, smiling. Ull flashed his pretty smile as well.
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Well..." Ull began "I was wondering if you would wanna go with me."
"Sure."Lisa answered smiling. Ull blushed and smiled. Prom was going to be a blast.
Lenneth caught up with Lezard after fourth period. She had questions and they had better be answered. She flashed the note to him.
"What did you mean by 'unfaithful' ?" the young girl asked. Lezard gently turned he head the other way and, lo and behold, there was Lucian. He was standing with Platina, who had her back press against a locker, and they looked as though they were about to...nah, nevermind.
The young popular bit her pink glossed lip and look down.
"I should have told you sooner. Sorry." Lezard apoligized. Lenneth just shook her head.
"Don't be. I should have known."
"Well, now that you know, Lenneth do you want to go to prom with me?" the young punk asked. Lenneth smiled.
"Sure. Pick me up a eight." she answered and walked off. After she was gone, Lezard ran off to find his insane friend.
"You WHAT?!" Freya and Mystina almost yelled.
"I said yes. He's an ok guy, for a punk rocker, I mean." Lenneth answered. Just then, Lucian sat down next to the group, giving Lenneth a quick kiss on the cheek.
"So, Len-chan, you goin to prom with me?" the blonde boy asked, wraping an arm around the young girl's waist. Lenneth didn't look at him.
"Sorry, I gotta meet a family member." Lenneth lied. Lucain's face fell.
"You WHAT?!" Lisa and Frei, Freya's younger sister and also a member of the band, asked in unison.
"Shhh!" the librarian shushed
"I asked her and she said yes." Lezard answered. Lisa and Frei looked at eachother then back to their friend.
"Damn. That means I owe you twenty!" Lisa was getting loud again. .
"SHHH!" the libraian shushed again. Lisa rolled her eyes.
"I'm going with Ull." the young punk continued, "What about you Frei-chan?" Frei blushed slightly.
"I'm going with Loki." she answered. Lisa laughed hard and loud.
"I'm NOT going to tell you three again!" the librarian yelled. The three stood up an headed out the door.
"Trick" Lezard scoffed. Frei stuck her toung out at the mean library woman.
"I didn't want your nasty ass books anyway" Lisa replied heatedly. The librarian gasped and turned her head as the three left laughing
The ended just like it always would, the kids would pack up, leave, and live their lives. it was two weeks until the big night and people were mostly heading to the mall. And for our lead girl, that was no different. Lenneth was watching her little sister and picking out a prom dress at the same time.
"Len-chan, look! I'm pretty, just like you!" Silmeria cried gleefully, holding a party dress up to her chest. Lenneth laughed and picked up her little sister, putting the dress back on the rack.She was glad to have a sister like Silmeria. She was so happy and bubbly and she was always there for Lenneth, even though she was only six.
"Come on, Sil-chan. We can pick out something for you, too." Lenneth offered. Silmeria cheered and wraped her little arms around her sister's neck.
"So, who are you going to prom with?" Lezard's mom asked. Mrs, or should I say Miss Valeth asked. His mother was a very pretty woman. Long black hair and clear purple eyes, just like her son.
"Oh, just a girl from school." Lezard answered. Miss Valeth just smiled.
"I remember my prom date. A young man named Lucifer Frank." Lezard snickered.
"What?" Miss Valeth asked.
"Lucifer Frank? What kind of name is 'Lucifer'?"
"Oh, hush. He was a very charming young man. Much like yourself." Lezard's mother said dreamily. Lezard scoffed. Lucifer sounded like a dork.
"Lisa, telephone!" Lisa's mom yelled down the stairs. The young girl didn't respnond.
"Lisa Marie!" Lisa's mom yelled louder. Lisa took off her headphones and looked upstairs.
"Yeah?" she called. Her mom was on he way downstairs, but stoped at the landing.
"Pick up the phone." Lisa did as she was told and answered the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey." It was Ull. The young punk sat up and blushed slightly.
"Hey. How're things goin'? Lisa asked.
"Fine. Lisa, we've know eachother for a while, right?" Ull asked on the other end. Lisa agreed and Ull continued.
"Well, I have to tell you something-" Ull was cut off
"Dammit. Ull I gotta go, my brother has to use the phone." Lisa said sourly.
"Uh...ok. bye" Ull said somewhat sadly.
Lenneth heard the phone ring three times before she answered. It was Lucian.
"Lenneth, you've been acting strange lately. Is something wrong?" the blond boy asked.
"Yeah, something's wrong. I saw you all hugged up with that Platina trick." Lenneth replied heatedly
"What? Len-chan, it's just like I told you, we're just friends." Lucian said in his defence. Len-chan didn't know what to believe. Lucian was somewhat manipulative, his girlfriends believed what he said, mostly because he was rich, popular, and cute. And, Lenneth was no different.
"You know you're my one and only." Lucian continued. That did it. She was his all over again.
