Witch Hazel & Broom's Pendulums

PENDULUMS:
My first attempts at pendulums were very basic - a wrapped crystal and some stone chips (see illus - 1 & 2)

But I wasn't satisfied... so I started a new technique. All the pendulums I had seen in stores were made by someone else's standards..!! The materials were of no great consequence - some used string and stainless steel... some were made of glass... some were just a crystal on a chain. I felt I should be using sterling wire or copper wire on the crystal points... and I found a great thumb-bead to use at the top for easy handling. Then I found that I could customize the mix of stones to suit the person who would be using it. The following examples are the result:

9 Lapis chips; 6 Amethyst chips; 2 Moonstone nuggets; 6 Rhodonite chips; 12 Rose quartz rondelles; 4 Labradorite rondelles; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; milky thumb bead.

30 Amethyst rondelles; 3 Moonstone nuggets; 1 drilled crystal point; amethyst colored thumb bead.

15 Lapis chips; 5 Moonstone nuggets; 18 Carnelian rondelles; 1 copper-wrapped crystal point; indigo colored thumb bead.

15 Tiger-eye chips; 6 Carnelian rondelles; 12 Rock crystal chips; 1 sterling-wrapped angel-hair (frosted) crystal point; tiger-striped thumb bead.

16 Lapis chips; 3 Moonstone nuggets; 6 Fluorite chips; 6 Labradorite rondelles; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; indigo colored thumb bead.

12 Garnet diamond-shaped wafers; 3 Moonstone nuggets; 15 Rock crystal chips; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; clear thumb bead.

27 Amethyst chips; 3 Fluorite chips; 3 Moonstone nuggets; 3 Labradorite rondelles; 1 sterling-wrapped strawberry quartz crystal point; amethyst colored thumb bead.

3 Moonstone nuggets, 12 Lapis chips; 3 Fluorite chips; 2 Garnet wafers; 2 Hematite chips; 2 Labradorite robdelles; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; amethyst-colored thumb bead.

9 Lapis chips; 12 Amethyst chips; 2 Moonstone nuggets; 12 Rose quartz rondelles; 4 Labradorite rondelles; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; milky thumb bead.

12 Aventurine (green) chips; 3 Moonstone nuggets; 4 Malachite chips; 4 Fluorite chips; 2 Carved rock crystal ovals; 1 sterling-wrapped clear crystal point; green thumb bead.

12 Red jasper chips; 9 Hematite chips; 2 Hematite beads; 2 Tiger-eye chips; 6 Rock Crystal chips; 1 sterling-wrapped strawberry quartz point (a rare find); red thumb bead.
