Contrary to popular belief, you CANNOT do whatever you want with magick without having to worry about consequences. Regardless of what your intent may be there will always be consequences when doing magick.
This does not mean that all magick brings negative consequences. This is not the case. Your consequences can be either good or bad, or both, depending on the type of magick that you are doing and your intent.
When doing any type of magick, you must always think about how your workings are going to effect everyone around you. This is where the 3 Fold Law and Karma come into play.
No matter what the situation, if you do good, good will come back to you 3 times over. If you do bad, bad will come back to you 3 times over. Even if you attack someone magickally in defense, you will have to pay for that, even though you are justified in what you have done. Therefore, you should ALWAYS be absolutely sure that magick is the only way to handle a situation.
I am not saying that you cannot defend yourself magickally, because you can, however, if you have done anything, just the slightest little thing, that has caused an altercation, and then you choose to do a justice spell because someone attacked you, then you will most definately have to pay the karmic debt for that spell.
I cannot stress enough, BE COMPLETELY SURE THAT MAGICK IS THE BEST WAY TO GO BEFORE YOU DO A SPELL.
Love spells: This is one place I won't go! There are two types of love spells. Ones that are cast on a specific person and ones to find love in general. I believe the type that are cast on a specific person are never positive. Not only is it negative for the person casting the spell, but negative for the person having the spell cast on them. Forcing someone to love you is breaking their free will, I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY! Most of the people that want to do a love spell are driven by one of two things, or both, OBSESSION AND DESPARATION! Neither of these are healthy emotions for a person to deal with. Until one can get rid of desparation and/or obsession it will NOT be possible to have a healthy relationship with anyone. Besides, if the person WANTS to love you, they will, if they don't, then they won't and you need to get over that and move on. Things happen when they are supposed to, and if it doesn't happen when YOU think it should, then it isn't time for it to happen. You need to think about how you would feel if someone that repulsed you cast a spell on you to make you fall in love with them. Now I know you are thinking that if they cast a spell on you then you won't be repulsed by them anymore, well, that is true, however, if left up to you, would you fall in love with that repulsive person? No you wouldn't. So why should you force that on someone else? And what gives you the right? You don't have one. But, if you are looking for a spell to force someone to fall in love with you then you are already desparate or obsessed and you are not going to believe a word that I am typing here, so it is basically a waste of energy and space on this page for me to even discuss this. But I chose to for those that are unaware of the consequences of doing a spell to make someone fall in love with you.
The other type of love spell is the one that helps you find that right person for you. This I do NOT have a problem with. We ALL deserve to be loved and why not do a spell to find the right person for you. AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT HAVE A SPECIFIC PERSON IN MIND WHEN DOING THE SPELL. You must also consider timing. As I stated above, everything happens when it is supposed to, so doing a spell could alter the reality of the timing for the right person to find you. If you have not found your one true love then there is a reason for that. I could be that you really aren't ready for that type of commitment or the other person may not be ready yet. Either way, that is a recipe for disaster. All of this needs to be kept in mind when planning to do a love spell to find the perfect one true love for you.
Revenge/Justice spells: When you are harmed, the first instinct is to do a justice spell of some sort. They work, and very well. However, I cannot stress enough that was goes around comes around, and magick doesn't always have to be involved. My theory on this is when someone harms you or a loved one, before you go off half cocked and start doing every justice spell you can find, wait until you calm down---NEVER DO MAGCIK WHEN YOU ARE PISSED OFF---NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! If when you have had a couple of days to calm down, you still feel the need to do the spell, then go ahead. But remember, what goes around, comes around. Did you do something to cause the harm that you incurred? If you did, and you do a justice spell, not only will the person that caused you harm suffer, but so will you. So rather than doing a justice spell on someone that cut you off in traffic, just let it go and learn from it. Rather than doing a justice spell on someone that took your boyfriend or girlfriend, let it go, YOU WEREN'T MEANT TO BE TOGETHER, if you were, then you would still be with that person. Life is nothing but lesson after lesson, so you need to pay attention rather than running around and casting justice spells on everyone that treats you wrong.
Money spells: We all want to be rich, to be able to live life with ease and not have to worry about how we are going to pay the bills. But you must think of this: If you are meant to be rich, then you will be. If not, then you won't be. Money spells WILL NOT work unless you truely need the money. I learned this the hard way. i did money spell after money spell after money spell, and they never worked. I finally realized that if I would quit going out and partying all the time, I would have more money to spend on bills and the things that I wanted. What a concept. Doing a spell for a job, well you have to think about this, there may be someone out there who needs that job more than you, and if you do a spell to get that job, you could be taking it away from a single parent with 5 kids. How would you like someone to do that to you? So, instead of doing spell for a specific job, do a spell for the right job for you. Keep it as general as possible. But before you try doing a spell for a job, actually go out and LOOK, and I mean really LOOK for work. The right job will come along. Bindings and Banishings: This is another area where caution should be used. This is a touchy subject for me. I feel that banishings should be left to unwanted spirits, and bindings should be left for people that are really trying to harm you in a severe way. Just because someone annoys you doesn't mean that you should bind them. That is childish. MY OPINION by the way. |
