| efore time was there was Akasha. Akasha was all and all was the Akasha. The world slept in darkness,in the arms of a void of nothing. So Akasha drew together and molded it's energies into twin forms, equal but opposite, fashioning the God and the Goddess from the One and of the One. The God and the Goddess stretched and gave thanks to the Akasha, but darkness surrounded them. They were alone, solitary, save for the Akasha. So they formed energy into gases, gases into Suns and Planets and Moons. They sprinkled the universe with whirling globes and so all was given shape by the hands of the Lord and the Lady. Light arose and the sky was illuminated by a billion suns. And the God and the Goddess, satisfied by their work, rejoiced, and loved, and were one. |
