The Marriage of Earth and Sun

The sky was a deep purple as the moon rose in the sky. It was waning and beautiful. So full of wisdom of past experiences. The Earth enjoys its time with Grandmother Moon. The Earth loved the energies they shared. She felt them in her blood. Gaia always knew the Moon would be there as the ocean tides rose and fell.

But the Earth was lonely she longed for a deeper companion.

She turned and looked around and saw a spark of light growing. As time went on it grew brighter and bigger. She felt the warmth of the Sun as it grew in the darkened sky.

The Earth loved the warm secure feeling she got when the Suns light touched her green skin. She felt joy when the light moved across her and shown on her mountains.

M' Lord she cried I have never felt anything like this before. Stay with me

So the Sun stayed, he reached out and warmed her skin and touched her face.

The rays of the sun impregnated the Earth, and she gave forth fruits and grains ripe and full. The children of the earth took and ate the grain a true gift of the Gods union.

As the earth scanned the skies she saw the faint image of Grandmother moon. In the Grandmother she saw a smile and they were handfasted.

When nighttime came again to the Earth, the Sun went behind her horizon but left with a fiery red glow in the sky.

So when you look in to the evening sky and see the Suns rays shining down. Give thanks, for it is this union that impregnates the Earth to grow and continue all of Nature.
