W---Water. We work with the waters of the universe. Be these the fluid motions of the galaxies as the planets move through the Zodiac. We work and dive deep in to our own inner emotions to apply the herbs of healing that we may grow stronger, that way we can heal others. We also understand that love can sometimes be tough and like nature we must be harsh to cause growth..for the greater good.
I---Intuition. We listen to our inner voices. We understand that the wisdom of the Gods come more from the inside then the outside. Yes it is true we see omens and signs. But it is our inner core that whispers the meanings of these signs. Be it from cards, Runes, or the movement of animals or the changes of the seasons themselves.
T---Tolerance. Tolerance is a double-edged sword. We understand that in order to receive this gift we have to give it as well. Just as there are many paths of the Craft, so are there many paths to the Center. Each person’s journey is his or her own, and they are responsible for it. While the Craft has been under fire for many years, times are changing and people are more open to the thought of the Craft. We have not fully arrived yet. But we are well on our way. May we arrive there in peace.
C---Circle. The place we go to learn about the Gods (Which are archetypes of our inner core) we work magick and delve deep with in ourselves. To make changes in the world around us and with in us. The Circle is the starting place. Remember all things come full circle. We should start here, as well as end here.
H---Honor. A Witch moves with honor. I understand this term is different for each person. But some of the basic qualities are truth, mercy, and strength. We share truth with those that are ready for it. Mercy to those in need of it. Strength for those that need a hand up. Being honorable also requires us to be true to ourselves. This means removing the rose colored glasses that sometime alter our view.
C---Caretakers. We are the guardians / caretakers of the Earth. Above all we care for the children of the Lord and Lady. As we are all connected our survival depends on the reset of our relations in nature, as their survival depends on us.
R---Reincarnation. While the after life is on of the greatest mysteries a person can experience, it is not to be feared. We come and learn and love. We die and are reborn, and love again. This is the cycle of things…So Mote it Be
A---Astral. We understand that there are more planes of existence then just the physical that we can see. There are far more places then the mundane. All things are created on the Astral and filter down and are birthed on the physical. We know that once you create something on the Astral you are responsible for it, and some time, some day the Universe will give birth to it in your physical realms. By this we know that not only are words powerful, but thoughts as well. You must think in order to speak, and to speak you must in some form engage your mind and think. Thus thoughts are powerful and a form of magick as well.
F---Fire. We work with the fires of change. The term Wicca means to bend, and Witchcraft is the Craft of the Wise. We are the bringers of change. As we act in the names of the Lord and the Lady. It was said that God became flesh and dwelt among humanity. This is very true. We are all Divine and Lords and Ladies in our own right. We have the power to create and to destroy. This is done by our choices and how we choose t olive our lives. We know that not all destruction is bad, but can be a necessary thing in order to remove stagnation and to flow fresh and new and to grow.
T---Truth. While we know truth is subjective it is very important. To be true to ourselves and to those around us. To uphold the oath we have taken to ourselves and to our Gods (The Divine part of ourselves). It is not so important that we pass our truth to others, but to aid them in finding their truth. Even if it is different from our view. Everyone’s truth is his or her own, and who are we to question. If a person is in the midst of harm it is for us to warn them but it is theirs to act.
