I don't stop the reading until you are finished, this means no bells. It also means that you are allowed to ask as many questions as you like and I suggest that if you know your going to have a reading that you make a list of questions before you meet with or call your psychic. When I do readings in person, I allow tape recording (but always ask your psychic if it's okay first). I put alot into each reading, I personally go threw an entire ceramony before each reading session (for example before a party or fair). This is a cleansing, purifying, and awakening process that takes about an hour or more, it leaves me "attuned" for the rest of the day at least (physically it looks like a caffine buzz).
I ask my clients to remember that readings take alot out a person and this is the only reason that I ask for compensation. Either financial or as above mentioned, other means (I was serious about the livestock). I must state (for legal reasons) that these readings are for entertainment purposes only. Neither am I a certified healer, and I do not claim to heal anyone, I simply have been given a few techniques which from my experience have released tension and aided in the healing process.
When I do Psychic Parties at homes in my area the night is $100, these parties are for four people or up to ten people excluding the hostess who gets a free reading. So, the guests, "split the bill", or the hostess pays for them. For additional guests a $25 fee will be added. I generally do individual readings for $25 when in person and less when via phone or email.
My experience ranges from starting out reading playing cards in booths and on the streets of Key West, FL to traveling with Christiana's New Age and Psychic Fair, to briefly reading with a telephone psychic. I was originally taught by Gary McKinstry who I met when working with Christiana, he gave me one lesson with the playing cards (this is called french style) and the rest is intuition. I generally use tarot now, as I seem to receive more from this tool. |
