We take a lot of pride in our works of art. We started out in 2001
with only handwritten poetry on paper and no knowledge of how a computer worked.
So we started out with a small Compaq and a few picture programs.
Trying to come up with backgrounds to illustrate our poetry. Since then
we have learned so much with so many programs on our own. Then came things like a scanner and a CD burner. We were creating so much just playing around that the hard drive wouldn't hold it all without crashing. The first image we ever made was done with a scanner and a transparency sheet. Talk about basic. We have come a long ways since then. Yet the more we played around the more we learned. Thank God for CD-R's. We would invite friends over and give them a slide show of our creations and I couldn't believe the oohs and ahhs that we were getting.
So we printed our work on 8.5X11 glossy sheets of paper and tried selling them. Didn't work out too well. So we thought go to poster size prints. We hit the web to find a printer (really called a large format plotter) big enough to print posters. And after lots of research we finally found one cheap enough yet would print in all colors (16 million to be exact).
Next was a unit much larger than our Compaq. Had to have one custom built to handle all that we were doing and creating. This solved a lot of problems that we were having. Then came a web site to present our work to the public.
It has really taken a team effort to get where we are today. One taking care of the artistic end while the other took care of the technical end. While both invested a lot of funds into the whole entire project. Now we hope to someday make a living with our posters. It would be a dream come true for both of us. One always dreaming of doing computer graphics while the other always dreaming to sell hand created works of art. And both always dreaming of having their own business.
We have created so much that only a portion of our work is on this site. As our site progresses we hope to include more works of art. Though we are always creating new stuff. The more we create the better we get at it. So please enjoy our site. Look at the pictures. Read the poetry. For it is all of our own creations in one way or another.
We even built this web site ourselves. Each page starting out with a blank sheet of paper on the computer screen. It took about 2-3 months to to put together. So please enjoy. Send us a comment.
