| SUMMARY 6 months after the tornado Dorothy is back in Kansas after her 1st adventure in Oz. Unable to sleep & continually talking about a place that "just doesn't exist" Auntie Em takes her to see Dr. Worely to see if she can be cured w/ his electral shock treatments. Before the doctor can get to Dorothy a mysterious girl helps Dorothy escape in the storm. After jumping into the river, the girl is lost but Dorothy manages to climb into a chicken coop & when she wakes up she is in Oz w/ Billina, the talking hen, but it is not all as she left it. The Yellow Brick Road is destroyed, the Emerald City is in ruins & everyone has been turned to stone. Dorothy meets Tik-Tok the mechanical man who accompanines her to the tower of Mombi, who has 31 different heads, Mombi who is actually the evil assistant of the Nome King locks Dorothy in the tower where she meets Jack Pumpkinhead, together w/ Tik-Tok they build a "gump" to carry them to the Nome King's Mountain & the are off to rescue Oz! |
