Walter Johnson Film Society
Student Film Showcase
When: June 3, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Imagination Stage in Bethesda
Admission: FREE
The Walter Johnson Film Society participated in its Student Film Showcase on June 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda.  The Showcase aims to encourage filmmaking in our area and inspire young filmmakers to share projects with the community. This year we only accepted films that are under 45 minutes in length; all films submitted were prescreened prior to the showcase by a panel of Film Society members who evaluated the movies according to preset criteria, including creativity, technical quality, and overall enjoyment.  The best films were selected for screening.
We thank everyone who participated in this year's event and look forward to another showcase next year.  For more information, contact Russell Yaffe at
