| Ahhh.....the ultimate combo- a bad mascot for a pizza company, and a video game system. Yes, this is a real game, made by a real, and at most times, respectable, game company, Capcom. While I wish I was joking, I sadly am not. Domino's knew that by making a game based on pizza and their mascot, they could increase sales, regardless of how pathetic the game was. And Capcom......well, I can only guess that the CEO of Capcom lost a great amount of yen playing poker and needed a quick advance in cash...so Christmas wouldn't suck for himself and the Mrs. Oddly, lots of games based on ideas as bad, almost as bad, or even worse(more reviews to come) were made for the NES, so it wasn't really risking losing integrity when they made this game. The game's plot placed you as the Noid, a crack-addicted and all around insane man in a red bunny suit. The main villian: Mr. Green, another insane crack addict, but with a twist- he's in a green bunny suit. And he somehow has control over many other freaks, apparently enough to be a major threat to New York City. And of all the people in NYC, the Noid seems to be the only one with the power to stop the evil Mr. Green, who also owns a grocery store in my hometown Dalton(the Green Spot's owner is the same Mr. Green I guess.) And the mayor knows this too; so using the power of his super yo-yo, he goes out to save the city. And that was just the opening screens they show if you don't press start, which I could not since I was in disbelief when I saw the awful truth: they made a game called Yo! Noid. |
