| True friends are hard to find, some are harder to keep. When your 10 your "best friends forever" but now you have no idea where she is or even remember her name. Years have slipped away, you grew up got married and have a completly different life. You may keep in touch with other old friends with christmas cards every year but don't get together like you used to. Some friends come, then go quickly from your life. They may move, get married, divorced or just change life styles and leave the circle of friends you formed. Life long friends are true and are always there if you need them or not. They stay with you for the good times and the bad. Crying with you, laughing till the tears flow, or just sipping coffee across a table. They remember your birthday, annivesary and your favorite color. They will tell you " goodness you look dreadful in that outfit" or " wow congratulations...great job. Just friends say you look fine or good job, and off they go. A true friend will hold your hand or comfort you in times of need and will get the same treatment in return. True friends are hard to find but fun to keep! |
