CERTIFICATES AND DEGREES
Two-year and four-year degrees in Bible and Biblical Studies, Ministry, Christian Counseling, and Christian Education may be earned. Additionally, graduate degrees may be earned in Bible and Biblical Studies, Ministry, and Christian Counseling.
Associate Degree Programs
Associate degree programs consist of 60 modules of credit, which includes the Core Curriculum (30 units) in addition to 20 units in the study area of specialty. A 2.0 grade point average (GPA) must be averaged for the associate program. In the major area of study, an average of 2.5 must be maintained.
Bachelor Degree Requirements
To receive a
Bachelor of Theology Degree from
Bachelor degrees are offered in the fields of Bible and Biblical Studies, Ministry, Christian Counseling, and Family and Human Development. A minor may be obtained in Christian Education.
The course of study for the bachelor degree must include the following:
Major: 30 modules
Minor: 18 modules.
Core: 30 modules.
Electives: 42 modules.
Total: 120 modules.
Bachelor of Theology in Bible and Biblical Studies
To receive a Bachelor of Theology degree in Bible and Biblical Studies, one must successfully complete 120 modules, including the Core Program (30 modules), 30 modules of Bible and/or Biblical Studies, and 18 modules in the minor area of study. The minor area may be in any field.
Bachelor of Theology in Ministry
To receive a Bachelor of Theology degree in Ministry, one must successfully complete 120 modules, including the Core Program (30 modules), 30 modules of Ministry courses, and 18 modules in the minor area of study. The minor area may be in any field.
Bachelor of Theology in Christian Counseling
To receive a Bachelor of Theology degree in Christian Counseling, one must successfully complete 120 modules, including the Core Program (30 modules), 36 modules of Christian Counseling (which can also include Marriage and Family courses in the area of Social Issues), and 18 modules in the minor area of study.

COU201, COU211, COU212, COU213, COU301, COU321, COU322, COU323, COU342, COU431, COU451, COU461, COU471, COU473.
Required courses: 14 modules
Elective counseling/family/marriage courses: 22 modules
The minor area of study: Any area.
Graduate Programs
Master of Theology
In order to become a candidate for the Master of Theology degree, an individual must have a bachelor degree from an approved school. The Master of Theology program must include 30 modules of course work in addition to a thesis (6 modules). The program of study must be approved by the Dean of Academic Affairs.

Bible and Biblical Studies
Ministry
Christian Counseling
Doctor of Theology
The Doctor of Theology degree is available in Bible and Biblical Studies. The doctoral program should include 90 graduate credits which includes those credits earned in a Masters program. Generally speaking, that would be approximately 60 credits beyond the Masters which includes a 12-credit dissertation.
The doctoral program must include a major area of study as well as a collateral area of study. Complete details of the doctoral program must be worked out with the chairperson of the doctoral committee, including the fulfillment of residency requirements.
