Naomi laid on her bed, staring through the window at the rain. She rolled over and looked at the ceiling. Sighing, she wiped away a final tear. Deciding it was useless, she got up and went to sit by the window sill. The rain stopped and the clouds slowly parted, revealing the fresh, starry sky. Naomi again stared at the window.

  "Why me?" She started humming, then began to sing. "I've waited all my life
For the day when love appears. Like a fairy tale in days gone by, He will rescue me from my fears. And now I feel him standing close to me. And how can I tell him what he means to me ? My heart stands still - has he come?" She began to cry again. "Oh starry night. Is this the moment I dream of? Oh starry night. Tell me is he my own true love"

  Unknown to her, the door creaked open slightly. Drw peeked in and smiled. "Every night I think of him, here in my lonely room. Waiting for my prince to come. Wondering if he'll be here soon. And I sit patiently waiting for a sign. And I hope that his heart longs for mine. He calls my name, is he the one?" The door opened wider, and Lewis crept in and sat on the bed.

  Naomi began to sing softer. "Oh starry night. Is this the moment I dream of? Oh starry night. Tell me is he my own true love"  She stood up and pushed her chair in. "Oh starry night. Is this the moment I dream of? Oh starry night… How will I know? Will his love show? Is he my own true love…" She turned around to an awaiting Lewis.

"You tell me" He smiled. Naomi ran to him and embraced him. Lewis kissed the top of her head. Secretly, Drew grinned, forgiving and knowing, and closed the door.
