Since acquiring my new ability, I have really been able to explore. I've been able to clear the bottom shelf of the bookcase in my bedroom. I've also been able to keep up with my crawling toy turtle that used to get away from me!
At my doctor appointment earlier this month, I wieghed 18.5 pounds and was 28.5 inches long.
I've also sprouted my 3rd and 4th teeth. They're just barely poking through my gums. These two new teeth are on top, but for some odd reason, they're not the top middle teeth....they're the two on both sides of where the middle two will be someday. Hopefully they come soon, but for now, I'll settle for the jack-o-lantern look. 'Tis the season, I guess.
My favorite game is peek-a-boo. Sometimes when daddy plays that with me, I giggle non-stop for minutes. Sometimes I giggle so hard that I lose my breath.
I've learned that if I want picked up, all I have to do is arch my back and reach out my arms. My parents usually get the idea. If not, I just scream to get my point across.
I've slept through the night two times this month! My parents were very pleased, since I hadn't done that in 3 months. I still think sleeping through the night is over-rated. What if I miss out on something?
Cheerios are my new favorite food. I love feeding myself and getting everything covered in slobber. I also like Gerber biter biscuits. I eat a couple jars of baby food everyday and I like almost every kind. I tried yogurt for the first time today, which was mighty tasty!
I'll soon have my first cousin on my mom's side. Aunt Lori is due October 3. I can't wait to have a cousin to play with when I go to Grandma Miller's house. My Aunt Cori is also due in about 11 weeks on December 10, so by Christmas I'll have two cousins on my dad's side.
