This group has developed from the various committees that worked on W-L's 75th Anniversary. We now meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at W-L in the first floor library at 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted. When Arlington County Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather or other circumstances, we will not meet.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2002. All alumni are welcome to attend. There are no dues at this time. Along with the business meeting, there will be time allotted for socializing and refreshments.

At the July 18, 2001 meeting, plans were finalized for the Arlington County Fair where the Alumni Association will have a table. We will be selling golf hats, mugs, and key chains. Frisbees and balloons will be given away free. Photo displays and yearbooks will be on hand. Database forms will be available for alumni to fill out.
At the June 13, 2001 meeting, a planning session took place regarding our presence at the Arlington County Fair, August 16-19, 2001. The Alumni Association will have a table in which we will have items to sell along with a bag of freebies for people to pick up. We will need volunteers to work at the Fair. At the May 2, 2001 meeting, money was appropriated to purchase storage containers for the W-L artifacts that have been collected and to make copies of the Crossed Sabres for safekeeping. Money was also appropriated so that Web hosting services could be contracted for our own alumni Web site to be independent of W-L's Web site.
At the March 14, 2001 meeting, several committees were established. One committee is looking into setting up a Web site for the Alumni Association separate from W-L's Web site. Another committee is collecting memorabilia and finding a place to store these items. The memorabilia would be available for classes to use at their reunions.
At the January 24, 2001 meeting, Officers and Board of Directors were voted into office. From our class, Mary Dodge Strehle was elected Treasurer and Margaret Cost Hallin was elected to the Board of Directors.
