All of the works obey a master line, gotten after several studies and that consists in: - A part (superior) reserved for spontaneous manifestation of my sensibility when hearing each one of the symphonies. - Another part (inferior) containing drawings made while I heard each symphony and respecting my rational line of work, where I represent the inconsequencies that mankind is practicing now. - A third part, contains texts that I transcribed from several authors, biblical passages and even personal texts. Each text was written or chosen when hearing the concerning symphony and, has the function to compare something that has been said from millenniums by wise persons, prophets or intellectuals, with the reality of the images that represent, in a certain way, the human being actions in the planet. - In each picture there is a pentagram that ties all the works, working as a vital line due to the movements that it presents when all of the works are put side by side. In the interlining of each pentagram there are musical signs, regarding the respective symphony, that do the linking between the superior and inferior parts of the paintings. - There is also a triangular part, where I write physicist and mathematics formulas that represent the human being cultural development; one of the few positive things that we reached in our inner search. In short: I do an analogy of the actions and the mankind's inconsequencies, nowadays, in the planet earth, according to the impression that each symphony caused me when I was hearing them. 1985 Walter L.
