The Microcosmic Orbit is formed from the Conception Vessel and Governing Vessel (Ren and Du channels) of Chinese acupuncture and Taoist disciplines. When these two meridians are joined together and functioning as a circuit stress is discharged, organ function improves and the groundwork is laid for emotional well-being and spiritual development.
Each point along the Orbit needs to be purified, activated and aligned so life energy, ch'i, can flow unhindered between all the points of the Microcosmic Orbit forming the Microcosmic circulation.
