Harvey Nichols announce they have stopped selling fur!

Only days before a Nationwide Day of Action was to take place against Harvey Nichols, they have finally seen sense and ceased to profit from the misery and death of the fur trade. Their stores in Birmingham, London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester would have all had demos outside this coming Saturday.

Harvey Nichols sent the following email to The Coalition Against the Fur Trade(CAFT)

"The Board has today reviewed the Company's fur policy and has decided going forward that we will no longer stock real fur items.
Yours faithfully,
For and on behalf of Harvey Nichols and Company Limited,
Clive Morton,
Company Secretary"

But of course there are still Midlands shops profiting from this evil industry. A few polite letters/phonecalls from compassionate people may be all it takes for them to adopt a fur free policy. Checkout our
fur shops page for the details of these shops. Please remember to be polite. WMAA does not support or incite abusive contact with these companies. Disclaimer
