WEEKLY PROTESTS IN RUGBY
GET BIGGER & LOUDER!!
  posted  15-6-04
On Friday afternoon, Midlands protesters descended on RMC offices in Rugby and held the biggest, loudest demo there so far. 11 protesters turned up to tell RMC exactly how much they`re hated for building the new animal deathcamp at Oxford University.

Once again, support from passing motorists was tremendous and many took leaflets as they got caught up in traffic at the island. At times, supportive blasts on car horns made more noise than the demo itself.
Being the day after the local and European elections, this was a great day to hold the demo as numerous councillors and the towns MP were across the road outside the Council House, from where they heard about the horrific cruelty that RMC are profitting from.
And RMC are getting unwelcome attention from more than just animal rights campaigners! This evil company are in the process of burning tyres for fuel at their huge plant in Rugby, causing massive pollution far and wide! On hearing the protest on Friday, 4 local anti-pollution campaigners joined the demo in solidarity!
After nearly 3 hours, the demo came to an end and everyone went away happy that this evil company had been exposed to several thousand people! There is no doubt that RMC hate being subjected to this public shaming every week, so everyone pledged to return as often as they could.
