National Newchurch Demo hit
the streets of Stafford
posted  13-9-04
Upto 300 campaigners came from all over the country to Stafford Town Centre on Saturday to call for the end of guinea pig breeding at Newchurch Farm. Protesters gathered in Victoria Square from where we started a noisy march round the streets. Many thousands of leaflets were handed out to the general public. The march stopped by the campaign stall for speeches by several well known campaigners and then set off again and finished back at Victoria Square. Most protesters then drove to the farm to continue the demonstration.
