Walid M. Natour

I was born in Beirut on April-1982. Completed my studies in an official high school & graduated in 2000; holding Bacc II degree in Life Sciences. My journey of facing the real world began early. After finishing elementary studies, I worked with an Electro-Mechanical Contractor as a Low Current Technician installing telephone systems & data networking. I aquired my degree in Computer & Communications at an average university instead of the well known university i was aiming at due to lack of financial resources. At a certain point I had decided to apply to the Lebanese University to aquire a degree in Political Sciences but I overlooked the idea and joined Hawaii University. I worked and studied throughout my my university years.

I rarely came home; I worked from dusk till dawn six days a week. As hard as it was I still found it exciting when I applied things at work before studying their concept in university! End of may 2002 I joined a Clinical Center in Down Town as a computer technician. I stayed there for around a year and a half until I moved to FDC in August 2003. While working in FDC, I was still completing my studies & I started preparing for a new certificate in networking "Cisco Certification" & I am a holder of CCNA since Feb. 2005. I have been heading the IT Operations in FDC since  May-2006. In June 2007, I achieved my first goal and succeeded in the CISA official exam :). I am planning to enroll in an MBA program & to get some additional certifications such as CCNP & CISM. Well this is my story. Wish me luck & hope that my little shiny story will help inspire your dreams.

My hobbies and interests include playing basketball, bowling and traveling.

I have a lovely mom & a great dad. I am the middle child in a famliy of three I have an older married sister & a younger brother. Khaled; my nephew; is the first grandson in our family, I love him a lot. Reem; my lovely  niece, she was born in April-2006...a very cute girl. I have many cousins who left Lebanon to live in USA, Spain & Gulf area.

I like to have many friends. My best friends are Khaled (Jack & Jones Brand Manager), Tarek (Owns a Perfume Store) & Mazen (who is working in Dubai). In addition to the gang "Farah, Racha, Abir, Rola, Lama, Mazen, Gabi, Abbas, Rami aka "Raadelli" & others". Darine, Mirna, Nahhoul, Ouday, Wissam...Love you all! A brother more than a great friend; Ahmad Siddik who taught me, directed me & helped me at many times. Thank you Ahmad.
