Survivor Series REwind From Greensboro, NC, 11.18.01

This one was for all the marbles. Stephanie and Shane McMahon had formed The Alliance to try and run their father and WWE out of business. But Mr. McMahon was not going to go down without a fight, and this Survivor Series Match was designed to end one of the companies once and for all. The Rock, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Kane & Undertaker represented WWE and Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon, Booker T & Rob Van Dam represented The Alliance.

After both sides took turns on the offensive, a weakened Undertaker finally made the tag to Big Show. Big Show went for the chokeslam on Angle, but the Olympic Gold Medalist reversed it into the Angle Slam. A Booker T kick, an RVD Five Star Frog Splash and a flying elbow from Shane later and Big Show was the first elimination.

WWE's team bounced back when Chris Jericho was able to hit the Lion Sault and get rid of Shane, but The Alliance came roaring back as RVD and Booker T used good teamwork to eliminate Kane. Undertaker came in a house of fire, but Stone Cold put that fire out with a Stunner to give The Alliance the 4-2 advantage, leaving only Jericho and The Rock on WWE's side.

The Rock staved off a Booker T attack and was able to roll him up for an elimination narrowing the gap to 3-2. RVD and Jericho then went at it, but after Van Dam missed a moonsault... [ continue ]
