WOW. Monster show. Not since the LeWitt show at the
Addison, or the Trockel show at the ICA have I seen such a world class exhibition
in Bean-count town. WOW. War and Memory? Try In Your Face. For those of
you who feel angry, check this out. I don't think most of us could summon
up enough bile to carry their brushes. WOW. Forget showing up. These two
take it to the limit in this most relentless display of pissed-offness at
the shitty behavior of the human race these eyes have ever seen. This is
not coddled pain and anger. This is unleashed rage in torrents, this is
you had better look away because if you can't stomach this very ugly truth
it is going to knock you down, this is no place for Sunday museum goers.
The Burnt Whole(ICA) was a picture show, I'm sorry. This is Judgement Day.
The full-metal indictment. Terminator. See it. Take the afternoon off, you'll
need it.(I refuse to talk about the paintings or their form, even the dynamite
installation. It's too good. It would require a couple of issues.) Addison
