Interview with Vilk from Ritual Bloodlust, March 2, 2006 for the Wind of Ages.
Wiatr: Heilsa Vilk and Wolfgang, nice to meet you both! Wolfgang? Necrofuhrer: Hails, its a pleasure. Vilk: Hails. W: Ritual Bloodlust, tell me what kind of band this is, and what genre you play. V: Well I would say it's more of a 'epic' fucking powerful Black Metal band. We try to make like a story out of our songs. WN: Being a two-man band, we have a lot of creative freedom with eachother. We agree on a lot of parts for songs and mix together very well. V: Yeah it seems like we work good with eachday. Like today, we were working on a new song and the flow was very easy and good. W: What are your political views, if any? V: Well, the Earth is dying faster then normal cause of these human scum. I am an anti- humanist if that counts a "poltical view". I have been this way since I was a child. W: Haha, interesting. How long has the band been together? I noticed there are only two members in the band. Is there a reason for this? If so, what is it? V: The band was formed no longer then December, and the reason for the two members is that Wolfgang used to be in Pax [Satana] with me and he was unsatisfied with how the practicing was going on (I was as well) so we were talking after he left. In the end, we both agreed on that we should make a band. Its good that its just us two because like Wolf mentioned before, we work really good with eachother, the music flows out easy I guess, hahaha. W: Is there a demo or CD available by the band to this day? If yes, where can a fan find them for purchase, and if no, then when is one going to be available? V: As of right now, we have no demo but were working on our demo and it is going to be recorded at our mates studio called, Koma Krieg Kvlt Stuidos. W: Are there any other bands you take part in? If so, what bands? V: Yes, I am part of a Black/Grind band called Sacrificial Torment. I do vocals and I have few of my own projects that I will take part in. I am the drummer and vocalist for Dark End To Life a suicidal black metal band with my mate Legion from Nocturnal Supremacy. W: Is there a site that the readers can visit to listen to the music? V: As of now we do not have a site yet, but we have a page where our songs can be heard and that is http://www.myspace.com/ritualbloodlust. W: Any last words? V: Ritual Bloodlust will be playing our frist show on april 14 on Dock Street in Staten Island, NY. If anyone wants to check that out, send me a message on the Ritual Bloodlust Myspace page for directions. (http://www.myspace.com/ritualbloodlust). W: Heils, thank you for the interview, comrades! V: Hails! Any time. Interviewed by: Wiatr |
