My gggfather James Kingdon was born October 1768 at Tywardreath, Cornwall. He married Thomasin Drew, daughter of Joseph Drew and Thomasin Osborne, in 1795 at Tywardreath. I know nothing about James' siblings and parents. James and Thomasin had three sons and two daughters, most of whom came to America. The three sons, Jabez, James, and Samuel, first settled in Mount Holly, NJ, in 1832 and 1834. One daughter, Thomasin Kingdon, married James Sweet. She was widowed and I believe she came to Warren County, OH, after her husband's and parents' deaths.
