| Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Bullock b. 1867 or 68 and Albert C. Thacker b. 1863 This young couple grew up as first cousins. Their mothers were sisters, both were daughters of James Whitis Bulloch (b. abt.1790 d. 9-29-1859) and Nancy Horton b. abt.1800 d. 9-7-1854 (m. in 1817 in NC.) Albert and Sara had a rugged and very short life. I am still searching for more info on how and when they died, but they left behind four small children who were raised by family members. I am told they were raised on a farm belonging to Solomon Walker Bullock (who was Sara's older brother b. 1866) Sarah E. Bulloch b. 1868 (d. abt. 1895) married Albert C. Thacker b. 1863 (d. abt. 1895). * Married: 23 JAN 1887 in Goesbeck, Limestone Co., Texas. I believe Sarah died shortly after Hattie Mae was born. Grandma said it was due to complications at child birthing. Hattie was the youngest of four and she was born about 1898. Sara had James about 1890 then Sara "Sally" in 1892 and grandma Beatrice "Blanchie" on Feb. 16, 1894. Hattie was born abt. 1898 and LDS shows: Sarah died abt. 1900 and Albert died in abt. 1905. (Sarah's mother was Sarah R. "Sally" Bulloch b. 1832 a sister to Albert's mother who was Susan M. Bulloch b. 1823.) Parents of Sarah E. Bulloch: Sarah R. "Sally" Bulloch b. 1832/ d. abt.1909 in Vera, Knox, TX) married Thaddeus Warsaw Bullock Sr. who was born 1829/ d. 12-29-69 in San Augustine, TX) *Married: 16 APR 1849 in San Augustine Co., Texas He was the son of Thomas T. Bullock and Francis "Fannie" Williams. Parents of Albert C. Thacker : Susan M. Bulloch (b. 1823/ d. abt. 1868 in San Augustine Co., TX) married Isaac Holmes Thacker (b. 1821 in AL / d. in San Augustine Co., TX.) *Married: 28 JUN 1841 in San Augustine Co., Texas. He was the son of Isaac Reed Thacker and Mary Ann Burton (both born abt. 1793 in SC.) |
