Timothy Crosby Sr. bp. 01 MAR 1735
at Harwich, MASS.
Timothy married Mary Morey of Vuluntown, CONN.
on 27th of April 1759. Mary Morey's ancestral family had an enviable record as one of the oldest and proudest New England families. The oldest Morey of record to arrive in New England, from England was "Roger Morey". He was researching a point from near Salem, MASS in 1628, which was only eight years after the "Mayflower" had arrived.

Timothy and Mary had 7 children. They moved to a location set off from Waterbury, CONN. (the Township of Plymouth). According to church records ( First Congregational church of Plymouth)  Mary died 18 AUG 1776.

After his (Timothy Crosby Sr. ) wife's death he married Ruth Gibbs on 20th of NOV 1777 in Litchfield, CONN.  Ruth was the daughter of Gresham and
Tabitha (Moore) Gibbs.
Timothy and Ruth had 3 children.

** An iteresting bit of our "Mayflower" history discovered
by "Paul Prindle"; "I have recently discovered the American Ancestry
of Timothy Crosby's Mother, "Mary Morey"including a line of
decent from "Richard Warren", the Mayflower passenger.
